There were also Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, and James, son of Alphaeus. And there were Thaddaeus and Simon the Zealot.

When they had entered the city, they went up to the upstairs room where they were staying, that is, Peter, John, James, and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James.

As He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting in the tax office, and He* said to him,“ Follow Me!” And he got up and followed Him.

As Jesus went on from there, He saw a man called Matthew sitting in the tax collector’s office; and He* said to him,“ Follow Me!” And he got up and followed Him.

Is this not the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are His sisters not here with us?” And they took offense at Him.

After that He went out and looked at a tax collector named Levi sitting in the tax office, and He said to him,“ Follow Me.”And he left everything behind, and got up and began following Him.And Levi gave a big reception for Him in his house; and there was a large crowd of tax collectors and other people who were reclining at the table with them.

One of the two who heard John speak, and followed Him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.

Philip* said to Him,“ Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.”Jesus* said to him,“ Have I been with you for so long a time, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? The one who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say,‘ Show us the Father’?

Simon, whom He also named Peter, and his brother Andrew; and James and John; and Philip and Bartholomew;and Matthew and Thomas; James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon who was called the Zealot;Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.

Do we not have a right to take along a believing wife, even as the rest of the apostles and the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?

The next day He decided to go to Galilee, and He* found Philip. And Jesus* said to him,“ Follow Me.”Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.Philip* found Nathanael and* said to him,“ We have found Him of whom Moses wrote in the Law, and the prophets also wrote: Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth!”

Jude, a bond servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James, To those who are the called, beloved in God the Father, and kept for Jesus Christ:

Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, the one who also betrayed Him.

But Thomas, one of the twelve, who was called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.So the other disciples were saying to him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see in His hands the imprint of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”Eight days later His disciples were again inside, and Thomas was with them. Jesus* came, the doors having been shut, and stood in their midst and said,“ Peace be to you.”Then He* said to Thomas,“ Place your finger here, and see My hands; and take your hand and put it into My side; and do not continue in disbelief, but be a believer.”Thomas answered and said to Him,“ My Lord and my God!”Jesus* said to him,“ Because you have seen Me, have you now believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.”

and recognizing the grace that had been given to me, James and Cephas and John, who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, so that we might go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcised.

Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is His mother not called Mary, and His brothers, James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas?

So Jesus, after raising His eyes and seeing that a large crowd was coming to Him,* said to Philip,“ Where are we to buy bread so that these people may eat?”But He was saying this only to test him, for He Himself knew what He intended to do.Philip answered Him,“ Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not enough for them, for each to receive just a little!”One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother,* said to Him,

these people then came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and were making a request of him, saying,“ Sir, we wish to see Jesus.”Philip* came and* told Andrew; then Andrew and Philip* came and* told Jesus.

then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles;

James, a bond servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes who are dispersed abroad: Greetings.

And the following day Paul went in with us to James, and all the elders were present.

After they stopped speaking, James responded, saying,“ Brothers, listen to me.

Simon Peter, Thomas who was called Didymus, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together.

But I did not see another one of the apostles except James, the Lord’s brother.

Judas( not Iscariot)* said to Him,“ Lord, what has happened that You are going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?”

Therefore Thomas, who was called Didymus, said to his fellow disciples,“ Let’s also go, so that we may die with Him!”
