慈伯德子雅谷伯暨弟若望、二子亦稱罷吶熱譯言雷霆之子；

James son of Zebedee and his brother John( to them he gave the name Boanerges, which means“ sons of thunder”),

There were James, son of Zebedee, and his brother John. Jesus gave them the name Boanerges. Boanerges means Sons of Thunder.

James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James( to whom he gave the name Boanerges, that is, Sons of Thunder);

James and John( the sons of Zebedee, but Jesus nicknamed them“ Sons of Thunder”),

and to James the son of Zebedee, and to his brother John, he gave the name“ Boanerges”( that is,“ Sons of Thunder”);

James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James( to them He gave the name Boanerges, which means,“ Sons of Thunder”);

James the son of Zebedee; and John, the brother of James,( whom he called Boanerges, which means, Sons of Thunder);

耶和華說：「我的話豈不像火，又像能打碎磐石的大錘嗎？」

神的道是活潑的，是有功效的，比一切兩刃的劍更快，甚至魂與靈，骨節與骨髓，都能刺入、剖開，連心中的思念和主意都能辨明。

過了六天，耶穌帶着彼得、雅各、約翰暗暗地上了高山，就在他們面前變了形像，

你要大聲喊叫，不可止息；揚起聲來，好像吹角。向我百姓說明他們的過犯；向雅各家說明他們的罪惡。

那時，希律王下手苦害教會中幾個人，

耶穌稍往前走，又見西庇太的兒子雅各和雅各的兄弟約翰在船上補網。耶穌隨即招呼他們，他們就把父親西庇太和雇工人留在船上，跟從耶穌去了。

於是帶着彼得、雅各、約翰同去，就驚恐起來，極其難過，

西庇太的兒子雅各、約翰進前來，對耶穌說：「夫子，我們無論求你甚麼，願你給我們做。」

有西門‧彼得和稱為低土馬的多馬，並加利利的迦拿人拿但業，還有西庇太的兩個兒子，又有兩個門徒，都在一處。

彼得轉過來，看見耶穌所愛的那門徒跟着，（就是在晚飯的時候，靠着耶穌胸膛說：「主啊，賣你的是誰？」的那門徒。）彼得看見他，就問耶穌說：「主啊，這人將來如何？」耶穌對他說：「我若要他等到我來的時候，與你何干？你跟從我吧！」於是這話傳在弟兄中間，說那門徒不死。其實，耶穌不是說他不死，乃是說：「我若要他等到我來的時候，與你何干？」為這些事作見證，並且記載這些事的就是這門徒；我們也知道他的見證是真的。耶穌所行的事還有許多，若是一一地都寫出來，我想，所寫的書就是世界也容不下了。

於是帶着彼得、雅各，和雅各的兄弟約翰同去，不許別人跟隨他。

天使對我說：「你必指着多民、多國、多方、多王再說預言。」
