西庇太的儿子雅各和雅各的兄弟约翰——耶稣给他们取名叫“半尼其”，就是“雷霆之子”的意思、

还有西庇太的儿子雅各和雅各的兄弟约翰，又给这两个人起名叫半尼其，就是雷子的意思；

西庇太的儿子雅各，和雅各的弟弟约翰（耶稣给他们二人起名叫半尼其，就是“雷子”的意思），

慈伯德子雅谷伯暨弟若望、二子亦稱罷吶熱譯言雷霆之子；

James son of Zebedee and his brother John( to them he gave the name Boanerges, which means“ sons of thunder”),

There were James, son of Zebedee, and his brother John. Jesus gave them the name Boanerges. Boanerges means Sons of Thunder.

James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James( to whom he gave the name Boanerges, that is, Sons of Thunder);

James and John( the sons of Zebedee, but Jesus nicknamed them“ Sons of Thunder”),

and to James the son of Zebedee, and to his brother John, he gave the name“ Boanerges”( that is,“ Sons of Thunder”);

耶和华说：“难道我的话不像火吗？不像击碎岩石的铁锤吗？”

上帝的话有生命、有功效，锋利无比，胜过一切两刃的利剑，甚至能够剌入并分开魂与灵、关节与骨髓，辨明人一切的思想和动机。

六天后，耶稣带着彼得、雅各和约翰暗暗地登上一座高山。耶稣在他们面前改变了形象，

“你要高声呼喊，不要停止；要放声高呼，像响亮的号角。要向我的子民宣告他们的过犯，向雅各家宣告他们的罪恶。

那时，希律王下手残害教会的一些人，

耶稣往前走了不远，又看见西庇太的两个儿子雅各和约翰正在船上补网，便立刻呼召他们。他们就辞别父亲和船上的工人，跟从了耶稣。

于是耶稣带着彼得、雅各和约翰向前走。祂觉得极其难过，非常伤痛，

西庇太的两个儿子雅各和约翰上前对耶稣说：“老师，请你答应我们一个要求。”

西门·彼得、绰号“双胞胎”的多马、加利利的迦拿人拿但业、西庇太的两个儿子以及其他两个门徒都在一起。

彼得转身看见耶稣所爱的那个门徒跟在后面，就是吃最后的晚餐时靠在耶稣身边问“主啊！是谁要出卖你？”的那个门徒。彼得问耶稣：“主啊！他将来会怎样呢？”耶稣说：“如果我要他活到我再来，与你有什么关系？你只管跟从我吧！”于是在信徒中间就传说那个门徒不会死。其实耶稣并没有说他不会死，只是说：“如果我要他活到我再来，与你有什么关系？”为这些事做见证、记录这些事的就是那个门徒，我们都知道他的见证是真实的。耶稣还做了许多其他的事，如果都写成书，我想整个世界也容纳不下。

于是，祂带着彼得、雅各和雅各的弟弟约翰去雅鲁家，不准其他人跟着。

那天使又对我说：“你必要再对许多民族、国家、语言族群、君王说预言。”
