Whenever the impure spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out,“ You are the Son of God.”

他們喊着說：「上帝的兒子，你為甚麼干擾我們？時候還沒有到，你就上這裏來叫我們受苦嗎？」

當時，會堂裏有一個污靈附身的人，他在喊叫，說：「拿撒勒人耶穌，你為甚麼干擾我們？你來消滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，你是上帝的聖者。」

那試探者進前來對他說：「你若是上帝的兒子，叫這些石頭變成食物吧。」

又有鬼從好些人身上出來，喊着說：「你是上帝的兒子！」耶穌斥責他們，不許他們說話，因為他們知道他是基督。

他看見耶穌，就喊叫着俯伏在他面前，大聲說：「至高上帝的兒子耶穌，你為甚麼干擾我？我求你，不要叫我受苦！」

她跟隨保羅和我們，喊着說：「這些人是至高上帝的僕人，對你們傳講救人的道路。」

你信上帝只有一位，你信得很好；連鬼魔也信，且怕得發抖。

鬼就央求耶穌，說：「若要把我們趕出去，就打發我們進入豬羣吧！」

對他說：「你若是上帝的兒子，就跳下去！因為經上記着：『主要為你命令他的使者，用手托住你，免得你的腳碰在石頭上。』」

那時，有幾個巡迴各處念咒趕鬼的猶太人，擅自利用主耶穌的名，向那些被邪靈所附的人說：「我奉保羅所傳的耶穌命令你們出來！」做這事的是猶太祭司長士基瓦的七個兒子。但邪靈回答他們：「耶穌我知道，保羅我也認識，你們卻是誰呢？」被邪靈所附的人就撲到他們身上，制伏他們，勝過他們，使他們赤着身子，受了傷，從那房子裏逃出去了。凡住在以弗所的，無論是猶太人是希臘人，都知道這件事，也都懼怕；主耶穌的名從此就更被尊為大了。

他晝夜常在墳墓裏和山中喊叫，又用石頭打自己。他遠遠看見耶穌，就跑過來拜他，

在船上的人都拜他，說：「你真是上帝的兒子。」

上帝的兒子，耶穌基督福音的起頭。
