Whenever the impure spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out,“ You are the Son of God.”

When people controlled by evil spirits saw him, they fell down in front of him. The spirits shouted,“ You are the Son of God!”

And whenever the unclean spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out,“ You are the Son of God.”

And whenever those possessed by evil spirits caught sight of him, the spirits would throw them to the ground in front of him shrieking,“ You are the Son of God!”

大呼曰：『天主子耶穌、我與爾何干、乃先期來苦我耶？』

會堂中適有一為邪魔所憑者、大呼曰：『納匝勒人耶穌、吾與汝何干？竟來毀我耶？吾固知汝為誰、乃天主之聖者耳。』

誘者乃進而謂之曰：『爾苟為天主子、盍命斯石變餅。』

祛魔亦復不少。魔皆呼曰：『汝乃天主之子。』耶穌斥之、不許發言、以群魔識其為基督故。

一見耶穌、即驚呼而跪伏其前、揚聲而言曰：『至尊天主之子耶穌、吾與汝何干？祈毋相苦。』

隨葆樂後而呼曰：『是為至尊天主之僕、以拯救之道授爾眾。』

爾信天主惟一、斯誠善矣，獨不知眾魔亦具此信、且因是而震慄焉。』

群魔懇曰：『必欲驅我出、請發我入豕群。』

而謂之曰：『爾苟為天主子、盍一躍而下。經不云乎：「主將叮嚀眾天神、左輔右翼免爾傾；惟恐爾足觸躓石、天神親手托爾身。」』

時有猶太人遊行各處、誦咒祛鬼、向中魔者擅稱主耶穌之名曰：『予奉葆樂所傳之耶穌、敕汝等出。』行此者有猶太司祭長士基瓦之二子；然厲鬼答之曰：『耶穌予所識、葆樂予所知；顧爾為何許人耶？』中魔者即猛撲而制之、二人竟裸體負傷而遁戶外。凡居於依法所之猶太人與希臘人、咸聞其事、悉皆震慴。主耶穌之聖名、自是益宏、

盤居山塚、日夜叫囂、復以石自擊、體無完膚。遙見耶穌、趨前拜跪、

舟中人羅拜曰：『汝真天主子。』
