Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man,“ My child, your sins are forgiven.”

When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man,“ Son, your sins are forgiven.”

And Jesus seeing their faith saith unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins are forgiven.

Some people brought to him a paralyzed man on a mat. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man,“ Be encouraged, my child! Your sins are forgiven.”

Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.

Jesus turned around, and when he saw her he said,“ Daughter, be encouraged! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was healed at that moment.

and listening as Paul preached. Looking straight at him, Paul realized he had faith to be healed.

Is it easier to say to the paralyzed man‘ Your sins are forgiven,’ or‘ Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk’?So I will prove to you that the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins.” Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said,

“ I tell you, her sins— and they are many— have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love.”Then Jesus said to the woman,“ Your sins are forgiven.”The men at the table said among themselves,“ Who is this man, that he goes around forgiving sins?”And Jesus said to the woman,“ Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

“ Daughter,” he said to her,“ your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”

Now someone may argue,“ Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say,“ How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.”You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror.How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless?Don’t you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar?You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete.

But afterward Jesus found him in the Temple and told him,“ Now you are well; so stop sinning, or something even worse may happen to you.”

And he said to her,“ Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.”

Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the man,“ Young man, your sins are forgiven.”

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.

No one needed to tell him about human nature, for he knew what was in each person’s heart.

Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of guilt, whose lives are lived in complete honesty!When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long.Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat. InterludeFinally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself,“ I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. Interlude

He makes them turn from doing wrong; he keeps them from pride.He protects them from the grave, from crossing over the river of death.“ Or God disciplines people with pain on their sickbeds, with ceaseless aching in their bones.They lose their appetite for even the most delicious food.Their flesh wastes away, and their bones stick out.They are at death’s door; the angels of death wait for them.“ But if an angel from heaven appears— a special messenger to intercede for a person and declare that he is upright—he will be gracious and say,‘ Rescue him from the grave, for I have found a ransom for his life.’Then his body will become as healthy as a child’s, firm and youthful again.When he prays to God, he will be accepted. And God will receive him with joy and restore him to good standing.

As we pray to our God and Father about you, we think of your faithful work, your loving deeds, and the enduring hope you have because of our Lord Jesus Christ.We know, dear brothers and sisters, that God loves you and has chosen you to be his own people.

Then God put him in the place of honor at his right hand as Prince and Savior. He did this so the people of Israel would repent of their sins and be forgiven.

When he arrived and saw this evidence of God’s blessing, he was filled with joy, and he encouraged the believers to stay true to the Lord.

Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

We wither beneath your anger; we are overwhelmed by your fury.You spread out our sins before you— our secret sins— and you see them all.We live our lives beneath your wrath, ending our years with a groan.

“ Don’t lay a hand on the boy!” the angel said.“ Do not hurt him in any way, for now I know that you truly fear God. You have not withheld from me even your son, your only son.”

When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins.

When you forgive this man, I forgive him, too. And when I forgive whatever needs to be forgiven, I do so with Christ’s authority for your benefit,

He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.

Yes, this anguish was good for me, for you have rescued me from death and forgiven all my sins.

That is why many of you are weak and sick and some have even died.
