亞希突子撒督、與亞庇亞塔子亞希米勒為祭司、西勑亞職繕寫。

利未族拿但業子示罵雅、職繕寫、在王與群伯、祭司利未族長撒督亞庇亞塔子亞希米勒前、核數其名、以利亞撒裔中取二人、其名最著、以大馬裔中取一人、其名最著。

當取麵粉、製餅十二、每餅一斗二升、列為二行、行各六餅、置諸金几、以供事我。每行餅上、必置乳香、惟潔是務、以為記錄、焚以獻我。值安息日、自以色列族取餅、置於我前、守為恆約。祭物燔而獻我、於其中有餅為至聖之物、以歸亞倫、及其子孫、食於聖所、著為永例。○

大闢至挪伯、見祭司亞希米勒、亞希米勒懼曰、汝奚獨至、無人與偕。

王告祭司亞庇亞塔曰、昔爾舁耶和華上帝之匱、在我父大闢前、恆與我父同憂、今雖當死、我不於此時殺爾、盍歸故土亞拿突。遂驅亞庇亞塔、不使為耶和華之祭司。於是耶和華在示羅、論以利家之言應矣。

亞倫與子、必於會幕門前、食羊及筐中之餅、爾以是羊、為亞倫及其子贖罪、任之為祭司、故使彼食之、外人則不可食、蓋聖物也。

亞多尼雅與西魯雅子約押、及祭司亞庇亞塔私議、欲其相從、以為輔翼。

撒督亞比亞塔舁上帝之匱、至耶路撒冷、而居於彼、

初亞希米勒子亞庇亞塔、遁於枝拉、見大闢時、手攜公服。

撒督及利未族人偕行、舁上帝法匱、置之於彼、待民出邑、亞庇亞塔亦往。

大闢知掃羅蓄謀害己、遂命祭司亞庇亞塔、攜公服至此、

所羅門王曰、母為亞多尼雅求予以書念女亞庇煞、果何故歟。彼為我兄、盍求國祚歸之、彼有祭司亞庇亞塔、及西魯雅子約押以為輔翼。

在彼有祭司撒督、亞庇亞塔助爾、爾於王宮所聞、必告於彼、

亞希突孫、亞希米勒子亞庇亞塔遁、往從大闢、以掃羅殺耶和華祭司之事告。大闢曰、當日我見以東人多益在側、我知其必告掃羅。今害爾父全家者、實緣於我。
