And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?

耶稣对他们说：“经上记着大卫和跟从他的人缺乏饥饿之时所做的事，你们没有念过吗？

耶稣对他们说：“大卫和跟从他的人饥饿需要食物时所做的事，你们没有念过吗？

耶稣对他们说：“大卫和跟从他的人饥饿需要食物时所做的事，你们没有念过吗？

耶稣回答说：“大卫和他的部下在饥饿、缺粮时所做的事，你们没有读过吗？

耶稣对他们说：“大卫和跟他一起的人在饥饿缺食的时候所作的，你们没有念过吗？

耶稣对他们说：“大卫和那些与他在一起的人饥饿缺乏时所做的事，难道你们从来没有读过吗？

耶穌對他們說：「經上記着大衛和跟從他的人缺乏飢餓之時所做的事，你們沒有念過嗎？

耶穌對他們說：「大衛和跟從他的人飢餓需要食物時所做的事，你們沒有念過嗎？

耶穌對他們說：「大衛和跟從他的人飢餓需要食物時所做的事，你們沒有念過嗎？

耶穌回答說：「大衛和他的部下在饑餓、缺糧時所做的事，你們沒有讀過嗎？

耶穌對他們說：“大衛和跟他一起的人在飢餓缺食的時候所作的，你們沒有念過嗎？

耶穌對他們說：『大衛（本人和跟隨他的人）缺乏而餓着的時候所作的，你們從沒誦讀過麼？

耶穌對他們說：「大衛和那些與他在一起的人飢餓缺乏時所做的事，難道你們從來沒有讀過嗎？

耶穌曰、爾未讀大衛與從者匱而飢時所為乎、

耶穌曰、爾不知大闢及從人乏食、饑時所行乎、

耶穌曰、經載大衛及從者乏食、饑時所行之事、爾未讀之乎、

對曰：『經載大維及從者飢時所為事、爾豈未寓目耶？

He answered,“ Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need?

He answered,“ Haven’t you ever read about what David did? He and his men were hungry. They needed food.

And he said to them,“ Have you never read what David did, when he was in need and was hungry, he and those who were with him:

Jesus said to them,“ Haven’t you ever read in the Scriptures what David did when he and his companions were hungry?

He said to them,“ Have you never read what David and those who were with him did when he was in need and hungry—

And He* said to them,“ Have you never read what David did when he was in need and he and his companions became hungry;

But He said to them,“ Have you never read what David did when he was in need and hungry, he and those with him:

And he said unto them, Did ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry, he, and they that were with him?

He said to them,“ Have you never read what David and those who were with him did when he was in need and hungry—

He said to them,“ Have you never read what David did when he was in need and he and his companions were hungry–

He said to them,“ Did you never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry— he, and those who were with him?

Now therefore what is under thine hand? give[ me] five[ loaves of] bread in mine hand, or what there is present.And the priest answered David, and said,[ There is] no common bread under mine hand, but there is hallowed bread; if the young men have kept themselves at least from women.And David answered the priest, and said unto him, Of a truth women[ have been] kept from us about these three days, since I came out, and the vessels of the young men are holy, and[ the bread is] in a manner common, yea, though it were sanctified this day in the vessel.So the priest gave him hallowed[ bread]: for there was no bread there but the shewbread, that was taken from before the LORD, to put hot bread in the day when it was taken away.

He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made[ them] at the beginning made them male and female,

And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I[ am] the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?

But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,

Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed.
