當時那些因司提反的事所引起的苦難而四散的人走遍那地方，直到腓尼基、居比路和安提阿，不對別人、只對猶太人講道。

耶穌在海邊又開始教訓人。有頂大羣的人聚集到他四圍，他只得上船在海上坐着；全羣的人都在岸上，靠近着海。耶穌就用比喻教訓了他們許多事。當教訓的時候，他對他們說：

約翰被送了官以後，耶穌到加利利去，宣傳上帝的福音，

你要傳道，無論得時不得時都要急切力行，用百般的恆忍和各樣的教訓讓人知罪、責備人、勸勉人。

不，它所寫的乃是：『話語是和你相近，就在你口中，就在你心中』：（這就是說，我們所宣傳這本着信的話語）。

耶穌出了船，看見一大羣人，就憐憫他們，因為他們像羊沒有牧人一般；就教訓他們許多事。

這些日子有一天、耶穌正教訓人；有法利賽人和教法師也在座。人從加利利各村莊、和猶太跟耶路撒冷來；主的能力與耶穌同在，使他能行醫。
