On hearing this, Jesus said to them,“ It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

耶穌聽見了，就說：“健康的人不需要醫生，有病的人才需要，‘我喜愛憐憫，不喜愛祭祀’，你們去想一想這話的意思吧。我來不是要召義人，而是要召罪人。”

耶穌回答：“健康的人不需要醫生，有病的人才需要。我來不是要召義人，而是要召罪人悔改。”

我告訴你們，因為一個罪人悔改，天上也要這樣為他歡樂，比為九十九個不用悔改的義人歡樂更大。

因為人子來，是要尋找拯救失喪的人。”

“基督耶穌降世，為要拯救罪人。”這話是可信的，是值得完全接納的。在罪人中我是個罪魁。可是，我竟然蒙了憐憫，好讓基督耶穌在我這個罪魁身上，顯明他完全的忍耐，給後來信他得永生的人作榜樣。

我們從前也是無知、不順服、受了迷惑、被各種私慾和逸樂所奴役，生活在惡毒和嫉妒之中，是可憎可惡的，並且互相仇視。然而，到了神我們的救主顯明他的恩慈和憐愛的時候，他就救了我們，並不是由於我們所行的義，而是照著他的憐憫，藉著重生的洗和聖靈的更新。聖靈就是神藉著我們的救主耶穌基督豐豐富富澆灌在我們身上的，使我們既然因著他的恩典得稱為義，就可以憑著永生的盼望成為後嗣。

惡人要離棄自己的道路，不義的人當除去自己的意念，回轉過來歸向耶和華，耶和華就必憐憫他。你們當回轉過來歸向我們的神，因為他大大赦免人的罪。

有些和耶穌在一起的法利賽人聽了這話，就說：“難道我們也是瞎眼的嗎？”

律法的出現，是要叫過犯增多；然而罪在哪裡增多，恩典就更加增多了。罪藉著死掌權；照樣，恩典也藉著義掌權，使人藉著我們的主耶穌基督進入永生。

你們不知道不義的人不能承受神的國嗎？不要自欺，無論是行淫亂的、拜偶像的、姦淫的、作孌童的、親男色的、偷竊的、貪心的、醉酒的、辱罵人的或勒索的，都不能承受神的國。你們有些人從前也是這樣的，但現在藉著我們主耶穌基督的名，靠著我們神的靈，都已經洗淨了，聖潔了，稱義了。

他對父親說：‘你看，我服事你這麼多年，從來沒有違背過你的命令，可是你沒有給我一隻山羊羔，叫我和朋友一同歡樂。

當我們還軟弱的時候，基督就照所定的日期，為不敬虔的人死了。為義人死，是少有的；為好人死，或有敢作的；唯有基督在我們還作罪人的時候為我們死，神對我們的愛就在此顯明了。

耶和華說：“你們來，我們彼此辯論；你們的罪雖像硃紅，必變成雪白；雖紅如丹顏，必白如羊毛。

“你們要小心，不要輕視這些小弟兄中的一個。我告訴你們，他們的使者在天上，常常見到我天父的面。﹙有些抄本有第

我告訴你們，因為一個罪人悔改，神的使者也必這樣為他歡樂。”

耶穌對他們說：“你們在人面前自稱為義，神卻知道你們的心；因為人所高舉的，神卻看作是可憎惡的。

他們說：“你的確是在罪中生的，還敢教訓我們嗎？”就把他趕出去。

先向大馬士革、耶路撒冷、猶太全地的人宣講，後向外族人宣講，叫他們悔改，歸向神，行事與悔改的心相稱。

我對猶太人和希臘人都作過見證，要他們悔改歸向神，信靠我們的主耶穌。

他為我們捨己，為的是要救贖我們脫離一切不法的事，並且潔淨我們作他自己的子民，熱心善工。
