As He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office. And He said to him,“ Follow Me.” So he arose and followed Him.

As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax collector’s booth.“ Follow me,” Jesus told him, and Levi got up and followed him.

As he walked along he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus. Levi was sitting at the tax collector’s booth.“ Follow me,” Jesus told him. Levi got up and followed him.

And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him,“ Follow me.” And he rose and followed him.

As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at his tax collector’s booth.“ Follow me and be my disciple,” Jesus said to him. So Levi got up and followed him.

Then, passing by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office, and he said to him,“ Follow me,” and he got up and followed him.

As He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting in the tax office, and He* said to him,“ Follow Me!” And he got up and followed Him.

And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphæus sitting at the place of toll, and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

Then, moving on, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office, and He said to him,“ Follow Me!” So he got up and followed Him.

And as he passed by, he saw Levi the[ son] of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

As he went along, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at the tax booth.“ Follow me,” he said to him. And he got up and followed him.

As he passed by, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at the tax office, and he said to him,“ Follow me.” And he arose and followed him.

After these things He went out and saw a tax collector named Levi, sitting at the tax office. And He said to him,“ Follow Me.”So he left all, rose up, and followed Him.Then Levi gave Him a great feast in his own house. And there were a great number of tax collectors and others who sat down with them.And their scribes and the Pharisees complained against His disciples, saying,“ Why do You eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?”Jesus answered and said to them,“ Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

Matthew and Thomas; James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called the Zealot;

Then He said to them,“ Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”They immediately left their nets and followed Him.Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. He called them,and immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him.

Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Cananite;

As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him,“ Follow Me.” So he arose and followed Him.Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples.And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples,“ Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”When Jesus heard that, He said to them,“ Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.But go and learn what this means:‘ I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

Then Jesus said to them,“ Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.”They immediately left their nets and followed Him.When He had gone a little farther from there, He saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the boat mending their nets.And immediately He called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and went after Him.

And when they had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying: Peter, James, John, and Andrew; Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew; James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas the son of James.
