As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax collector’s booth.“ Follow me,” Jesus told him, and Levi got up and followed him.

And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him,“ Follow me.” And he rose and followed him.

As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at his tax collector’s booth.“ Follow me and be my disciple,” Jesus said to him. So Levi got up and followed him.

Then, passing by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office, and he said to him,“ Follow me,” and he got up and followed him.

As He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting in the tax office, and He* said to him,“ Follow Me!” And he got up and followed Him.

And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphæus sitting at the place of toll, and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

Then, moving on, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office, and He said to him,“ Follow Me!” So he got up and followed Him.

And as he passed by, he saw Levi the[ son] of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

As he went along, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at the tax booth.“ Follow me,” he said to him. And he got up and followed him.

As he passed by, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at the tax office, and he said to him,“ Follow me.” And he arose and followed him.

這些事以後，耶穌出去，看到一個名叫利未的稅吏，在稅關坐著。耶穌對他說：「你跟從我！」利未就撇下一切，站起來跟從了耶穌。利未在自己家裡為耶穌預備盛大的宴席，有一大群稅吏和其他人與他們一同坐席。法利賽人和他們的經文士就向耶穌的門徒們抱怨，說：「你們為什麼與那些稅吏和罪人一起吃喝呢？」耶穌對他們說：「健康的人不需要醫生，有病的人才需要。我來不是要召喚義人，而是要召喚罪人來悔改。」

馬太、多馬，亞勒腓的兒子雅各，稱為激進派的西門，

耶穌就對他們說：「來跟從我！我將要使你們成為得人的漁夫。」他們立刻捨棄漁網，跟從了耶穌。耶穌從那裡往前走，看見另外兩個兄弟，就是西庇太的兒子雅各和他弟弟約翰，正在船上與他們的父親西庇太一起修補漁網。耶穌就召喚他們，他們立刻捨棄了船，告別他們的父親，跟從了耶穌。

又有安得烈，腓力和巴多羅邁，馬太和多馬，亞勒腓的兒子雅各和達太，激進派的西門，

耶穌從那裡往前走，看見一個叫馬太的人在稅關坐著。耶穌對他說：「你跟從我！」馬太就站起來，跟從了耶穌。耶穌在屋子裡坐席，這時候來了許多稅吏和罪人，與耶穌和他的門徒們一同坐席。有些法利賽人看見了，就對耶穌的門徒們說：「你們的老師為什麼與那些稅吏和罪人一起吃飯呢？」耶穌聽見了就說：「健康的人不需要醫生，有病的人才需要。你們去學『我要的是憐憫，而不是祭祀』這話是什麼意思吧！我來不是要召喚義人，而是要召喚罪人。」

耶穌就對他們說：「來跟從我！我將要使你們成為得人的漁夫。」他們立刻捨棄漁網，跟從了耶穌。稍往前走，耶穌看見西庇太的兒子雅各和他弟弟約翰。他們正在船上修補漁網。耶穌隨即召喚他們。他們就離開了在船上的父親西庇太和雇工們，並且跟著耶穌去了。

他們一進城，就到他們所住的樓上房間。在那裡有彼得、約翰、雅各、安得烈，腓力和多馬，巴多羅邁和馬太，亞勒腓的兒子雅各、激進派的西門、雅各的兒子猶大。
