“ I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.”

Jesus became angry. He reached out his hand and touched the man.“ I am willing to do it,” Jesus said.“ Be‘ clean’!”

The Holy Spirit gives life. The body means nothing at all. The words I have spoken to you are full of the Spirit. They give life.

Then Jesus said to him,“ Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.”The man was healed right away. He picked up his mat and walked. This happened on a Sabbath day.So the Jewish leaders said to the man who had been healed,“ It is the Sabbath day. The law does not allow you to carry your mat.”
