So I will prove to you that the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins.” Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said,

然而为了要你们知道人子在地上有赦罪的权柄，（他就对瘫子说：）

不过为要使你们知道人子在地上有赦免罪的权柄——”耶稣就对瘫痪的人说：

但要叫你們知道，人子在地上有赦罪的權柄。」就對癱子說：

但要讓你們知道，人子在地上有赦罪的權柄。」就對癱子說：

但要讓你們知道，人子在地上有赦罪的權柄。」就對癱子說：

但我要讓你們知道人子在世上有赦罪的權柄。」於是祂對癱子說：

然而為了要你們知道人子在地上有赦罪的權柄，（他就對癱子說：）

但是、為要叫你們知道人子在地上有權柄可以赦罪』（就對癱子說）

不過為要使你們知道人子在地上有赦免罪的權柄——」耶穌就對癱瘓的人說：

但令爾知人子在世、有權以赦罪耳、遂謂癱瘓者曰、

但令爾知、人子在地、有權以赦罪耳、即語癱瘋者曰、

今特令爾知人子在地、有赦罪之權、即語癱瘓者曰、

第欲爾曹知人子在世、自有赦罪之權耳。』

But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the man,

So I will prove to you that the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins.” Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said,“ Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!”And the man jumped up and went home!Fear swept through the crowd as they saw this happen. And they praised God for giving humans such authority.

As my vision continued that night, I saw someone like a son of man coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient One and was led into his presence.He was given authority, honor, and sovereignty over all the nations of the world, so that people of every race and nation and language would obey him. His rule is eternal— it will never end. His kingdom will never be destroyed.

For the Father loves the Son and shows him everything he is doing. In fact, the Father will show him how to do even greater works than healing this man. Then you will truly be astonished.For just as the Father gives life to those he raises from the dead, so the Son gives life to anyone he wants.In addition, the Father judges no one. Instead, he has given the Son absolute authority to judge,so that everyone will honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son is certainly not honoring the Father who sent him.“ I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.“ And I assure you that the time is coming, indeed it’s here now, when the dead will hear my voice— the voice of the Son of God. And those who listen will live.The Father has life in himself, and he has granted that same life giving power to his Son.And he has given him authority to judge everyone because he is the Son of Man.

Then God put him in the place of honor at his right hand as Prince and Savior. He did this so the people of Israel would repent of their sins and be forgiven.

even though I used to blaspheme the name of Christ. In my insolence, I persecuted his people. But God had mercy on me because I did it in ignorance and unbelief.Oh, how generous and gracious our Lord was! He filled me with the faith and love that come from Christ Jesus.This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it:“ Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”— and I am the worst of them all.But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in him and receive eternal life.

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples,“ Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”
