十一个门徒往加利利去，到了耶稣指定他们去的山上。他们见了耶稣就拜他，然而还有人疑惑。

这些事以后，耶稣在提比哩亚海边又向门徒显现。他怎样显现记在下面。

门徒都离开他，逃走了。

倒不如赦免他，安慰他，免得他过分悲伤，甚至受不了啦！

有许多日子，他向那些从加利利同他上耶路撒冷的人显现，这些人如今在民间成为他的见证人。

还显给矶法看，又显给十二使徒看，

彼得在下边院子里，大祭司的一个使女来了，见彼得取暖，就看着他，说：“你素来也是同拿撒勒人耶稣一起的。”彼得却不承认，说：“我不知道，也不明白你说的是什么！”于是他出来，到了前院，鸡就叫了。那使女看见他，又对旁边站着的人说：“这个人也是他们一伙的。”彼得又不承认。过了不久，旁边站着的人又对彼得说：“你真是他们一伙的，因为你也是加利利人。”彼得就赌咒发誓说：“我不认得你们说的这个人。”立刻，鸡叫了第二遍。彼得想起耶稣对他所说的话：“鸡叫两遍以前，你要三次不认我。”他就忍不住哭了。
