玛丽亚因这话就惊慌不安，思索这问候到底是什么意思。天使对她说：“玛丽亚，不要怕，因为你在神面前蒙恩了。

众人一见耶稣，都大吃一惊，就跑过去欢迎他。

撒迦利亚看见后，就惊慌不安，恐惧就临到了他。

这时候，先来到墓穴的那另一个门徒也进去了。他看见了，就信了。

门徒们看见耶稣在湖面上行走，以为是幽灵，于是喊叫起来，因为他们都看见了他，就惊慌不安。耶稣立刻与他们讲话，对他们说：“鼓起勇气吧！是我，不要怕。”

她们就进去，却找不到主耶稣的遗体。她们正为这件事心里困惑的时候，忽然有两个人，身穿闪闪发光的衣服，站在她们旁边。妇女们吓得把脸伏在地上。那两个人对她们说：“你们为什么在死人中寻找活人呢？

他又对我说：“但以理啊！你不要害怕，因为自从你用心领悟这事、在你的神面前谦卑的第一天起，你的祷告就蒙垂听了；我是因你的祷告而来的。

我举目观看，看哪，有一个人身穿细麻衣，腰间束着俄斐黄金的带子！他的身体如黄水晶，面貌如闪电的样子，眼睛如燃烧的火把，膀臂和脚如磨亮闪耀的铜；他说话的声音如众人发出的声音。唯独我但以理看到了这异象，那些与我在一起的人却没有看到这异象，但是有极大的恐惧落在他们身上，他们就逃走躲藏了。因此，唯独剩下我一人看到了这极大的异象；我里面一点力气都没有，我的脸色变得如同死灰，我的力气也留存不住，但我却听见了他说话的声音；我一听见他说话的声音，就脸伏于地沉睡了。

于是加百列来到我所站的地方。他一来，我就惊惶失措，脸伏于地。他对我说：“人子啊，你当领悟，这异象是关于末后的时期！”
