As it is said,“ Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”For who were those who heard and yet rebelled? Was it not all those who left Egypt led by Moses?And with whom was he provoked for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?And to whom did he swear that they would not enter his rest, but to those who were disobedient?So we see that they were unable to enter because of unbelief.

Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says,“ Today, if you hear his voice,do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness,

He said to them,“ Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain,‘ Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”

And he said to them,“ O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!

And Jesus, aware of this, said to them,“ Why are you discussing the fact that you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive or understand? Are your hearts hardened?Having eyes do you not see, and having ears do you not hear? And do you not remember?

And the Lord said to Moses,“ How long will this people despise me? And how long will they not believe in me, in spite of all the signs that I have done among them?

Then he said to Thomas,“ Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.”

On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them,“ Peace be with you.”When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.

And he said,“ Are you also still without understanding?Do you not see that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and is expelled?
