while it is said, To- day if ye shall hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.For who, when they heard, did provoke? nay, did not all they that came out of Egypt by Moses?And with whom was he displeased forty years? was it not with them that sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that were disobedient?And we see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.

As many as I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Wherefore, even as the Holy Spirit saith, To- day if ye shall hear his voice,Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, Like as in the day of the trial in the wilderness,

And he saith unto them, Because of your little faith: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

And he said unto them, O foolish men, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!

And Jesus perceiving it saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? do ye not yet perceive, neither understand? have ye your heart hardened?Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?

And Jehovah said unto Moses, How long will this people despise me? and how long will they not believe in me, for all the signs which I have wrought among them?

Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and see my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and put it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

When therefore it was evening, on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.And when he had said this, he showed unto them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad, when they saw the Lord.

And he said, Are ye also even yet without understanding?Perceive ye not, that whatsoever goeth into the mouth passeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
