They found the Eleven and those with them gathered together,who said,“ The Lord has truly been raised and has appeared to Simon!”Then they began to describe what had happened on the road and how he was made known to them in the breaking of the bread.

He replied to them,“ You unbelieving generation, how long will I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring him to me.”

If I summoned him and he answered me, I do not believe he would pay attention to what I said.

Moses told this to the Israelites, but they did not listen to him because of their broken spirit and hard labor.
