耶穌環視、謂門徒曰、有財者入天主國、難矣哉、門徒奇其言、耶穌又曰、小子、恃財者入天主國、難矣哉、駝穿針孔、較富者入天主國尤易、門徒益奇異、相告曰、然則誰能得救乎、耶穌顧之曰、在人固不能、在天主則不然、蓋天主無不能也、○

彼得充滿聖神、語眾曰、民之有司及以色列長老乎、我儕今日、若為向病人所行之善事被詰、彼何以得愈、則爾眾與以色列民、當知拿撒勒耶穌基督、爾釘之十字架、天主所復活者、即以其名、使此人得愈、立於爾前、此耶穌即爾工師所棄之石、已成屋隅首石、舍此別無救主、蓋天下人間、更無賜他名、我儕可賴以得救、○眾見彼得約翰、毅然而言、素識其為無學小民、皆異之、又知其曾偕耶穌、
