那些路過的人辱罵耶穌，搖著頭，說：「咳！你這個要拆毀聖所、三天內又建起來的人哪，

過者誚之、搖首曰、噫、爾毀殿、三日建之、

過者譏之、搖首曰、噫、毀聖殿三日又建之者、

過者莫不搖首而訕之曰：『噫嘻！爾毀聖殿、而於三曰重建之者！

And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ha! thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days,

Those who passed by were yelling insults at Him, shaking their heads, and saying,“ Ha! The One who would demolish the sanctuary and build it in three days,

And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest[ it] in three days,

Those who passed by defamed him, shaking their heads and saying,“ Aha! You who can destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days,

Those who passed by blasphemed him, wagging their heads, and saying,“ Ha! You who destroy the temple, and build it in three days,

“ We heard Him say,‘ I will destroy this temple made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.’”

I also have become a reproach to them; When they look at me, they shake their heads.

All who pass by clap their hands at you; They hiss and shake their heads At the daughter of Jerusalem:“ Is this the city that is called‘ The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth’?”

“ Is it nothing to you, all you who pass by? Behold and see If there is any sorrow like my sorrow, Which has been brought on me, Which the Lord has inflicted In the day of His fierce anger.

Then they said to one another,“ Look, this dreamer is coming!Come therefore, let us now kill him and cast him into some pit; and we shall say,‘ Some wild beast has devoured him.’ We shall see what will become of his dreams!”

All those who see Me ridicule Me; They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,“ He trusted in the Lord, let Him rescue Him; Let Him deliver Him, since He delights in Him!”

But in my adversity they rejoiced And gathered together; Attackers gathered against me, And I did not know it; They tore at me and did not cease;With ungodly mockers at feasts They gnashed at me with their teeth.Lord, how long will You look on? Rescue me from their destructions, My precious life from the lions.I will give You thanks in the great assembly; I will praise You among many people.Let them not rejoice over me who are wrongfully my enemies; Nor let them wink with the eye who hate me without a cause.For they do not speak peace, But they devise deceitful matters Against the quiet ones in the land.They also opened their mouth wide against me, And said,“ Aha, aha! Our eyes have seen it.”

For they persecute the ones You have struck, And talk of the grief of those You have wounded.

You know my reproach, my shame, and my dishonor; My adversaries are all before You.Reproach has broken my heart, And I am full of heaviness; I looked for someone to take pity, but there was none; And for comforters, but I found none.

and said,“ This fellow said,‘ I am able to destroy the temple of God and to build it in three days.’”

Because for Your sake I have borne reproach; Shame has covered my face.

And those who passed by blasphemed Him, wagging their headsand saying,“ You who destroy the temple and build it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross.”

Many bulls have surrounded Me; Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled Me.They gape at Me with their mouths, Like a raging and roaring lion.I am poured out like water, And all My bones are out of joint; My heart is like wax; It has melted within Me.

So the Jews answered and said to Him,“ What sign do You show to us, since You do these things?”Jesus answered and said to them,“ Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”Then the Jews said,“ It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?”But He was speaking of the temple of His body.Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.
