經過的人毁謗他，搖着頭說：『咳，你這拆毁殿堂、三天以內建造起來的、

那些路過的人辱罵耶穌，搖著頭，說：「咳！你這個要拆毀聖所、三天內又建起來的人哪，

過者誚之、搖首曰、噫、爾毀殿、三日建之、

過者譏之、搖首曰、噫、毀聖殿三日又建之者、

過者莫不搖首而訕之曰：『噫嘻！爾毀聖殿、而於三曰重建之者！

Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads and saying,“ So! You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days,

Those who passed by shouted at Jesus and made fun of him. They shook their heads and said,“ So you are going to destroy the temple and build it again in three days?

And those who passed by derided him, wagging their heads and saying,“ Aha! You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days,

The people passing by shouted abuse, shaking their heads in mockery.“ Ha! Look at you now!” they yelled at him.“ You said you were going to destroy the Temple and rebuild it in three days.

Those passing by were hurling abuse at Him, shaking their heads and saying,“ Ha! You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days,

And those who passed by blasphemed Him, wagging their heads and saying,“ Aha! You who destroy the temple and build it in three days,

And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ha! thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days,

Those who passed by were yelling insults at Him, shaking their heads, and saying,“ Ha! The One who would demolish the sanctuary and build it in three days,

And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest[ it] in three days,

Those who passed by defamed him, shaking their heads and saying,“ Aha! You who can destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days,

Those who passed by blasphemed him, wagging their heads, and saying,“ Ha! You who destroy the temple, and build it in three days,

“ We heard him say,‘ I will destroy this temple made with human hands, and in three days I will build another not made by hands.’”

I have become an object of ridicule to my accusers; when they see me, they shake their heads in scorn.

All who pass by scornfully clap their hands at you. They hiss and shake their heads at Daughter Jerusalem: Is this the city that was called the perfection of beauty, the joy of the whole earth?

Is this nothing to you, all you who pass by? Look and see! Is there any pain like mine, which was dealt out to me, which the LORD made me suffer on the day of his burning anger?

They said to one another,“ Oh, look, here comes that dream expert!So now, come on, let’s kill him and throw him into one of the pits. We can say that a vicious animal ate him. Then we’ll see what becomes of his dreams!”

Everyone who sees me mocks me; they sneer and shake their heads:“ He relies on the LORD; let him save him; let the LORD rescue him, since he takes pleasure in him.”

But when I stumbled, they gathered in glee; they gathered against me. Assailants I did not know tore at me and did not stop.With godless mockery they gnashed their teeth at me.Lord, how long will you look on? Rescue me from their ravages; rescue my precious life from the young lions.I will praise you in the great assembly; I will exalt you among many people.Do not let my deceitful enemies rejoice over me; do not let those who hate me without cause wink at me maliciously.For they do not speak in friendly ways, but contrive fraudulent schemes against those who live peacefully in the land.They open their mouths wide against me and say,“ Aha, aha! We saw it!”

For they persecute the one you struck and talk about the pain of those you wounded.

You know the insults I endure— my shame and disgrace. You are aware of all my adversaries.Insults have broken my heart, and I am in despair. I waited for sympathy, but there was none; for comforters, but found no one.

stated,“ This man said,‘ I can destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’”

For I have endured insults because of you, and shame has covered my face.

Those who passed by were yelling insults at him, shaking their headsand saying,“ You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save yourself! If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross!”

Many bulls surround me; strong ones of Bashan encircle me.They open their mouths against me— lions, mauling and roaring.I am poured out like water, and all my bones are disjointed; my heart is like wax, melting within me.

So the Jews replied to him,“ What sign will you show us for doing these things?”Jesus answered,“ Destroy this temple, and I will raise it up in three days.”Therefore the Jews said,“ This temple took forty-six years to build, and will you raise it up in three days?”But he was speaking about the temple of his body.So when he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the Scripture and the statement Jesus had made.
