經過的人毁謗他，搖着頭說：『咳，你這拆毁殿堂、三天以內建造起來的、

那些路過的人辱罵耶穌，搖著頭，說：「咳！你這個要拆毀聖所、三天內又建起來的人哪，

過者誚之、搖首曰、噫、爾毀殿、三日建之、

過者譏之、搖首曰、噫、毀聖殿三日又建之者、

過者莫不搖首而訕之曰：『噫嘻！爾毀聖殿、而於三曰重建之者！

And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest[ it] in three days,

Those who passed by defamed him, shaking their heads and saying,“ Aha! You who can destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days,

Those who passed by blasphemed him, wagging their heads, and saying,“ Ha! You who destroy the temple, and build it in three days,

We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another made without hands.

I am become also a reproach unto them: When they see me, they shake their head.

All that pass by clap their hands at thee; They hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men called The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth?

Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? Behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is brought upon me, Wherewith Jehovah hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger.

And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh.Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into one of the pits, and we will say, An evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.

All they that see me laugh me to scorn: They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,Commit thyself unto Jehovah; let him deliver him: Let him rescue him, seeing he delighteth in him.

But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: The abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; They did tear me, and ceased not:Like the profane mockers in feasts, They gnashed upon me with their teeth.Lord, how long wilt thou look on? Rescue my soul from their destructions, My darling from the lions.I will give thee thanks in the great assembly: I will praise thee among much people.Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; Neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.For they speak not peace; But they devise deceitful words against them that are quiet in the land.Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me; They said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.

For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; And they tell of the sorrow of those whom thou hast wounded.

Thou knowest my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonor: Mine adversaries are all before thee.Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: And I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; And for comforters, but I found none.

and said, This man said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.

Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; Shame hath covered my face.

And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads,and saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself: if thou art the Son of God, come down from the cross.

Many bulls have compassed me; Strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.They gape upon me with their mouth, As a ravening and a roaring lion.I am poured out like water, And all my bones are out of joint: My heart is like wax; It is melted within me.

The Jews therefore answered and said unto him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.The Jews therefore said, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou raise it up in three days?But he spake of the temple of his body.When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he spake this; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
