你们挂在木头上杀害的耶稣，我们祖先的神已经使他复活了。

士兵们将耶稣钉上十字架以后，把他的衣服拿来分成四份，每人一份。他们又拿了里衣，这件里衣没有接缝，从上到下由整片织成。他们彼此说：“不要把它撕开，让我们抽签，看它是谁的。”这是为要应验经上的话：“他们分了我的衣服，又为我的衣裳抽签。”士兵们果然做了这些事。

神使那位没有罪的替我们成为罪，好使我们在他里面成为神的义。

那时，耶稣说：“父啊，赦免他们！因为他们不知道自己在做什么。”士兵们抽签分了他的衣服。

基督替我们成了诅咒，从律法的诅咒中救赎了我们，因为经上记着：“凡是被挂在木头上的，都是被诅咒的。”

他在木头上，以自己的身体亲自担当了我们的罪孽，好使我们既然向罪而死，就能向义而活；因他受的鞭伤，你们得了痊愈。

他诚然担当了我们的忧患，背负了我们的痛苦；我们却认为他受责罚，被神击打、苦待了。其实他是为我们的过犯被刺透，为我们的罪孽被压伤。因他受的惩罚，我们得平安；因他受的鞭伤，我们得痊愈。我们全都如羊迷失，各人偏行己路；耶和华却使我们众人的罪孽都落在他身上。他被欺压、苦待，却不开口；他像羔羊被牵去宰杀、像羊在剪毛的人面前默然无声，他也这样不开口。因受迫害和审判，他被除去；谁能述说他的世代呢？其实他从活人之地被剪除、被击打，是因我子民的过犯。

群狗围绕我，一伙恶党包围我，他们刺穿我的双手、我的双脚；我能数算我全身的骨头；他们又瞪着眼看我。他们彼此瓜分我的衣服，又为我的衣裳抽签。
