“ Are you the king of the Jews?” asked Pilate.“ You have said so,” Jesus replied.

彼拉多問耶穌：「你是猶太人的王嗎？」耶穌回答說：「如你所言。」

彼拉多問他：“你是猶太人的王嗎？”耶穌回答：“你已經說了（“你已經說了”或譯：“這是你說的”）。”

彼拉多詰問他說：『你、是猶太人的王麼？』耶穌回答他說：『你說的是。』

彼拉多問他：「你是猶太人的王嗎？」耶穌回答他，說：「是你說的。」

彼拉多問曰、爾為猶太人王乎、答曰、爾言之矣、

彼拉多問耶穌曰、爾乃猶太人之王乎、答曰、爾言之矣、

比辣多問之曰：『爾果為猶太人之王乎？』耶穌答曰：『爾言之矣！』

“ Are you the king of the Jews?” asked Pilate.“ You have said so,” Jesus replied.

And Pilate asked him,“ Are you the King of the Jews?” And he answered him,“ You have said so.”

Pilate asked Jesus,“ Are you the king of the Jews?” Jesus replied,“ You have said it.”

So Pilate asked him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?” He answered him,“ You say so.”

Pilate questioned Him:“ So You are the King of the Jews?” And He answered him,“ It is as you say.”

Then Pilate asked Him,“ Are You the King of the Jews?” He answered and said to him,“ It is as you say.”

And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering saith unto him, Thou sayest.

So Pilate asked Him,“ Are You the King of the Jews?” He answered him,“ You have said it.”

And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto him, Thou sayest[ it].

So Pilate asked him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?” He replied,“ You say so.”

Pilate asked him,“ Are you the King of the Jews?” He answered,“ So you say.”

They asked,“ Where is the child who has been born to be king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose. Now we have come to worship him.”

Jesus was standing in front of the governor. The governor asked him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?”“ Yes. You have said so,” Jesus replied.But when the chief priests and the elders brought charges against him, he did not answer.Then Pilate asked him,“ Don’t you hear the charges they are bringing against you?”But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge. The governor was really amazed.

God gives life to everything. Christ Jesus told the truth when he was a witness in front of Pontius Pilate. In the sight of God and Christ, I give you a command.

They began to call out to him,“ We honor you, king of the Jews!”

They wrote out the charge against him. It read, the king of the jews.

“ Do you want me to let the king of the Jews go free?” asked Pilate.

Pilate came out to them. He asked,“ What charges are you bringing against this man?”“ He has committed crimes,” they replied.“ If he hadn’t, we would not have handed him over to you.”Pilate said,“ Take him yourselves. Judge him by your own law.”“ But we don’t have the right to put anyone to death,” they complained.This happened so that what Jesus said about how he was going to die would come true.Then Pilate went back inside the palace. He ordered Jesus to be brought to him. Pilate asked him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?”“ Is that your own idea?” Jesus asked.“ Or did others talk to you about me?”“ Am I a Jew?” Pilate replied.“ Your own people and chief priests handed you over to me. What have you done?”Jesus said,“ My kingdom is not from this world. If it were, those who serve me would fight. They would try to keep the Jewish leaders from arresting me. My kingdom is from another place.”“ So you are a king, then!” said Pilate. Jesus answered,“ You say that I am a king. In fact, that’s the reason I was born. I was born and came into the world to be a witness to the truth. Everyone who is on the side of truth listens to me.”“ What is truth?” Pilate replied. Then Pilate went out again to the Jews gathered there. He said,“ I find no basis for any charge against him.

They began to bring charges against Jesus. They said,“ We have found this man misleading our people. He is against paying taxes to Caesar. And he claims to be Messiah, a king.”So Pilate asked Jesus,“ Are you the king of the Jews?”“ You have said so,” Jesus replied.

“ Then what should I do with the one you call the king of the Jews?” Pilate asked them.

Pilate had a notice prepared. It was fastened to the cross. It read, jesus of nazareth, the king of the jews.Many of the Jews read the sign. That’s because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city. And the sign was written in the Aramaic, Latin and Greek languages.The chief priests of the Jews argued with Pilate. They said,“ Do not write‘ The King of the Jews.’ Write that this man claimed to be king of the Jews.”Pilate answered,“ I have written what I have written.”
