Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him.

彼拉多对他们说：“他到底做了什么恶事呢？”但他们却越发喊叫：“把他钉上十字架！”

比辣多曰：『是亦何為！彼曾作何惡？』眾更竭聲而呼曰：『釘死之！』

“ Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder,“ Crucify him!”

“ Why? What wrong has he done?” asked Pilate. But they shouted even louder,“ Crucify him!”

And Pilate said to them,“ Why? what evil has he done?” But they shouted all the more,“ Crucify him.”

“ Why?” Pilate demanded.“ What crime has he committed?” But the mob roared even louder,“ Crucify him!”

Pilate said to them,“ Why? What has he done wrong?” But they shouted all the more,“ Crucify him!”

But Pilate said to them,“ Why, what evil has He done?” But they shouted all the more,“ Crucify Him!”

Then Pilate said to them,“ Why, what evil has He done?” But they cried out all the more,“ Crucify Him!”

And Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out exceedingly, Crucify him.

Then Pilate said to them,“ Why? What has He done wrong?” But they shouted,“ Crucify Him!” all the more.

Pilate asked them,“ Why? What has he done wrong?” But they shouted more insistently,“ Crucify him!”

Pilate said to them,“ Why, what evil has he done?” But they cried out exceedingly,“ Crucify him!”

And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify[ him], crucify[ him]. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify[ him]: for I find no fault in him.

And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither[ was any] deceit in his mouth.

For such an high priest became us,[ who is] holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.

Then said Pilate to the chief priests and[ to] the people, I find no fault in this man.

And they gave him audience unto this word, and[ then] lifted up their voices, and said, Away with such a[ fellow] from the earth: for it is not fit that he should live.And as they cried out, and cast off[ their] clothes, and threw dust into the air,

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were[ our] faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

But they cried, saying, Crucify[ him], crucify him.

Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined[ him] before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him.

And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.

When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with[ their] teeth.But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,

Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What[ is that] to us? see thou[ to that].

And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but[ that] rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed[ his] hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye[ to it].Then answered all the people, and said, His blood[ be] on us, and on our children.

And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar’s friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar.When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!But they cried out, Away with[ him], away with[ him], crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.

Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault[ at all].

Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me,[ being] mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored[ that] which I took not away.

When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.

But when they knew that he was a Jew, all with one voice about the space of two hours cried out, Great[ is] Diana of the Ephesians.
