“ Then what should I do with the one you call the king of the Jews?” Pilate asked them.

彼拉多又问他们，说：“那么，你们要我怎么处理你们称为犹太人之王的那一位呢？”

彼拉多又說：「那麼樣，你們所稱為猶太人的王，我怎麼辦他呢？」

彼拉多又說：「那麼，你們稱為猶太人的王的，要我怎麼辦他呢？」

彼拉多又說：「那麼，你們稱為猶太人的王的，要我怎麼辦他呢？」

彼拉多只好問：「那麼，這位你們稱之為猶太人之王的，我如何處置呢？」

彼拉多又對他們說：“那麼，你們稱為猶太人的王的，你們要我怎樣處置他呢？”

彼拉多又應時對他們說：『那麼你們所稱為猶太人的王的、我要怎麼辦呢？』

彼拉多又問他們，說：「那麼，你們要我怎麼處理你們稱為猶太人之王的那一位呢？」

彼拉多復語之曰、然則爾所謂猶太人王者、我何以處之、

彼拉多復語眾曰、然則爾所謂猶太人王者、欲我何以處之、

彼拉多復語眾曰、然則爾所稱猶太人之王者、爾欲我何以處之、

比辣多復詢曰：『然則爾所稱為「猶太人之王」者、將何以處之？』

“ What shall I do, then, with the one you call the king of the Jews?” Pilate asked them.

And Pilate again said to them,“ Then what shall I do with the man you call the King of the Jews?”

Pilate asked them,“ Then what should I do with this man you call the king of the Jews?”

Pilate asked them again,“ Then what do you want me to do with the one you call the king of the Jews?”

And responding again, Pilate said to them,“ Then what shall I do with Him whom you call the King of the Jews?”

Pilate answered and said to them again,“ What then do you want me to do with Him whom you call the King of the Jews?”

And Pilate again answered and said unto them, What then shall I do unto him whom ye call the King of the Jews?

Pilate asked them again,“ Then what do you want me to do with the One you call the King of the Jews?”

And Pilate answered and said again unto them, What will ye then that I shall do[ unto him] whom ye call the King of the Jews?

So Pilate spoke to them again,“ Then what do you want me to do with the one you call king of the Jews?”

Pilate again asked them,“ What then should I do to him whom you call the King of the Jews?”

They began to bring charges against Jesus. They said,“ We have found this man misleading our people. He is against paying taxes to Caesar. And he claims to be Messiah, a king.”

Those in front and those in back shouted,“ Hosanna!”“ Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!”( Psalm 118:25, 26)“ Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David!”“ Hosanna in the highest heaven!”Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the temple courtyard. He looked around at everything. But it was already late. So he went out to Bethany with the 12 disciples.

“ Say to the city of Zion,‘ See, your king comes to you. He is gentle and riding on a donkey. He is riding on a donkey’s colt.’ ”( Zechariah 9:9)

They asked,“ Where is the child who has been born to be king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose. Now we have come to worship him.”When King Herod heard about it, he was very upset. Everyone in Jerusalem was troubled too.So Herod called together all the chief priests of the people. He also called the teachers of the law. He asked them where the Messiah was going to be born.

Now Jesus is Prince and Savior. God has proved this by giving Jesus a place of honor with him. He did it to turn Israel away from their sins and forgive them.

Pilate wanted to let Jesus go. So he made an appeal to the crowd again.But they kept shouting,“ Crucify him! Crucify him!”Pilate spoke to them for the third time.“ Why?” he asked.“ What wrong has this man done? I have found no reason to have him put to death. So I will just have him whipped and let him go.”But with loud shouts they kept calling for Jesus to be crucified. The people’s shouts won out.So Pilate decided to give them what they wanted.

The Lord gives wisdom. Knowledge and understanding come from his mouth.He stores up success for honest people. He is like a shield to those who live without blame.

“ Then what should I do with Jesus who is called the Messiah?” Pilate asked. They all answered,“ Crucify him!”“ Why? What wrong has he done?” asked Pilate. But they shouted even louder,“ Crucify him!”

A child will be born to us. A son will be given to us. He will rule over us. And he will be called Wonderful Adviser and Mighty God. He will also be called Father Who Lives Forever and Prince Who Brings Peace.There will be no limit to how great his authority is. The peace he brings will never end. He will rule on David’s throne and over his kingdom. He will make the kingdom strong and secure. His rule will be based on what is fair and right. It will last forever. The Lord’ s great love will make sure that happens. He rules over all.

It was about noon on Preparation Day in Passover Week.“ Here is your king,” Pilate said to the Jews.But they shouted,“ Take him away! Take him away! Crucify him!”“ Should I crucify your king?” Pilate asked.“ We have no king but Caesar,” the chief priests answered.Finally, Pilate handed Jesus over to them to be nailed to a cross. So the soldiers took charge of Jesus.

“ City of Zion, be full of joy! People of Jerusalem, shout! See, your king comes to you. He always does what is right. He has won the victory. He is humble and riding on a donkey. He is sitting on a donkey’s colt.

It was very early in the morning. The chief priests, with the elders, the teachers of the law, and the whole Sanhedrin, made their plans. So they tied Jesus up and led him away. Then they handed him over to Pilate.“ Are you the king of the Jews?” asked Pilate.“ You have said so,” Jesus replied.

“ A new day is coming,” announces the Lord.“ At that time I will raise up for David’s royal line a godly Branch. He will be a King who will rule wisely. He will do what is fair and right in the land.In his days Judah will be saved. Israel will live in safety. And the Branch will be called The Lord Who Makes Us Right With Himself.
