當下他們將耶穌、從該亞法那裏帶到皇省長府內。那時候是清早；他們自己卻沒有進府內，免得染了俗污，好喫逾越節的筵席。於是彼拉多出來到外邊向着他們說：『你們拿甚麼控告這個人呢？』他們回答他說：『這個人若不是作惡的，我們就不把他送交給你。』彼拉多就對他們說：『你們自己把他帶去，按你們的律法審判他。』猶太人對他說：『我們殺人、是不可以的』。這是要應驗耶穌的話，就是他所指明、他將要由甚麼樣的死而死來說的。於是彼拉多又進了皇省長府內，叫耶穌來，對他說：『你是猶太人的王？』耶穌回答說：『你說這話，是你自己說的呢？還是別人論到我對你說的？』彼拉多回答說：『難道我是猶太人麼？你本國的人和祭司長們把你送交給我；你作了甚麼事啊？』耶穌回答說：『我的國不屬於這世界。我的國若屬於這世界，給我當差事的就要戰鬥、使我不至於被送交給猶太人了。其實我的國不是出於這裏的。』彼拉多就對耶穌說：『那麼你是王了！』耶穌回答說：『你說我是王，你說的是。我為這事而出生，為這事來到世界，好給真理作見證；凡屬真理的就聽我的聲音。』彼拉多對耶穌說：『真理是甚麼？』說了這話，就再出來向着猶太人、對他們說：『我查不出他有甚麼罪狀。

亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的上帝、我們列祖的上帝、榮耀了他的僕人耶穌；你們卻把他送官，當彼拉多定意要釋放他時，你們竟在彼拉多面前棄絕了他。

你曾藉着聖靈、託你僕人、我們先祖大衛、的口說：「眾外國為甚麼怒吼？列族之民為甚麼謀算虛空的事？地上君王列陣站着，眾執政者聚集在一處，敵擋主，敵擋他所膏立的」。希律和本丟彼拉多、同外國人和以色列眾族之民、真地在這城裏聚集，攻打你所膏立的聖僕耶穌，要作你手和你計畫所豫定必成的一切事。

他必被送交給外國人，必被戲弄，被凌辱，被吐唾沫。他們必鞭打他，殺害他；第三天他就必復起。』

『看吧，我們上耶路撒冷去，人子必被送交給祭司長和經學士；他們必定他死罪，把他送交給外國人；他們必戲弄他，向他吐唾沫，鞭打他，殺害他；三天以後，他就必復起。』

但是我告訴你們：凡向弟兄發怒的，必須擔受判罰；凡罵弟兄為「飯桶」的，必須擔受議院的判罰；凡罵弟兄為「傻瓜」的，必須擔受地獄的火。

『看吧，我們上耶路撒冷去，人子必被送交給祭司長和經學士；他們必定他死罪，把他送交給外國人，去戲弄、鞭打、並釘十字架；第三天他就必得甦活起來。』

地上君王列陣站着，眾人君一同陰謀，要敵擋永恆主，敵擋他所膏立的，說：

到第二天、民間的議員、長老和經學士、就在耶路撒冷聚集。大祭司亞拿、和該亞法、約拿單、亞力山大、以及所有屬於大祭司家族的人、都在座。
