那女僕看見他，又開始對站在旁邊的人說：「這個人是與他們一夥的。」

婢見之、復語旁立者曰、彼亦其黨、

When the slave girl saw him, she began again to say to the bystanders,“ This man is one of them.”

The maid saw him, and began again to tell those who stood by,“ This is one of them.”

Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak.”

The woman asked Peter,“ You’re not one of that man’s disciples, are you?”“ No,” he said,“ I am not.”

Meanwhile, as Simon Peter was standing by the fire warming himself, they asked him again,“ You’re not one of his disciples, are you?” He denied it, saying,“ No, I am not.”

After a while someone else looked at him and said,“ You must be one of them!”“ No, man, I’m not!” Peter retorted.

Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself.
