Then some began to spit at him; they blindfolded him, struck him with their fists, and said,“ Prophesy!” And the guards took him and beat him.

他们就吐唾沫在他脸上，用拳头打他，也有打他耳光的，说：“基督啊，向我们说预言吧！打你的是谁？”

人打我的背，我任他打；人拔我两颊的胡须，我由他拔；人侮辱我，向我吐唾沫，我并不掩面。

他们又拿一根芦苇秆打他的头，向他吐唾沫，屈膝拜他。

亚拿尼亚大祭司就吩咐旁边站着的人打他的嘴。

又走到他面前，说：“万岁，犹太人的王！”他们就打他耳光。

看守耶稣的人戏弄他，打他，又蒙着他的眼，问他：“你说预言吧！打你的是谁？”

耶稣说了这些话，旁边站着的一个警卫打了他一耳光，说：“你这样回答大祭司吗？”

他们要戏弄他，向他吐唾沫，鞭打他，杀害他；三天后，他要复活。”

耶和华对摩西说：“她父亲若吐唾沫在她脸上，她岂不蒙羞七天吗？现在要把她隔离在营外七天，然后才领她回来。”

仰望我们信心的创始成终者耶稣，他因那摆在前面的喜乐，轻看羞辱，忍受了十字架的苦难，如今已坐在上帝宝座的右边。

他被藐视，被人厌弃；多受痛苦，常经忧患。他被藐视，好像被人掩面不看的一样，我们也不尊重他。

王从御花园回到酒席厅，见哈曼伏在以斯帖所靠的榻上；王说：“他竟敢在宫内、在我面前凌辱王后吗？”这话一出王口，哈曼的脸就被蒙住了。

他们厌恶我，躲避我，不住地吐唾沫在我脸上。

许多人因他惊奇—他的面貌比别人憔悴，他的外表比世人枯槁—

成群的民哪，现在要聚集成队；仇敌前来围攻我们，要用杖击打以色列领袖的脸颊。
