Then some began to spit at him; they blindfolded him, struck him with their fists, and said,“ Prophesy!” And the guards took him and beat him.

又以葦擊其首、唾之、屈膝拜之、

大祭司亞拿尼亞、命侍立者擊其口、

曰、安哉、猶太人王歟、遂批之、

執耶穌者、戲而扑之、掩其目、問曰、試言擊爾者誰耶、

耶穌言此、旁立一隸批之、曰、爾若是對大祭司乎、

戲之、唾之、扑而殺之、三日復起、○

耶和華曰、若彼父唾於其面、豈不蒙羞七日乎、必禁之營外、歷至七日、然後可導之入、

瞻望耶穌、即我信之始終、彼為陳於其前之樂、忍受十架、輕視恥辱、今得坐於上帝右、

彼被藐視、為人厭棄、素歷困苦、洞悉病患、猶人掩面所不欲睹、而鄙夷者、我儕不重視之、○

王自御苑復返宴所、見哈曼伏於以斯帖所在之榻、則曰、在宮中、在我前、彼乃強迫后耶、王出斯言、左右遂蒙哈曼面、

憎我遠我、唾我面、而不自禁、

彼曾面目顦顇、甚於世人、形容枯槁、逾於人子、令眾駭異、

結隊之女乎、今可和會成羣、彼眾已圍攻我、將以杖擊以色列士師之頰、
