But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou art the Christ, the Son of God.Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Henceforth ye shall see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.

And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering saith unto him, Thou sayest.

And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by that law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.

say ye of him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

I said, I will take heed to my ways, That I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, While the wicked is before me.I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; And my sorrow was stirred.

and said unto him, Art thou he that cometh, or look we for another?And Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and tell John the things which ye hear and see:the blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the poor have good tidings preached to them.

who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

which in its own times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

And when he was accused by the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.Then saith Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee?And he gave him no answer, not even to one word: insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly.

according to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

If thou art the Christ, tell us. Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end have I been born, and to this end am I come into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

Blessed art thou, O Jehovah: Teach me thy statutes.

and lo, a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

The Jews therefore came round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou hold us in suspense? If thou art the Christ, tell us plainly.

I will tell of the decree: Jehovah said unto me, Thou art my son; This day have I begotten thee.

I was dumb, I opened not my mouth; Because thou didst it.

And I have seen, and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.

Now the passage of the scripture which he was reading was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; And as a lamb before his shearer is dumb, So he openeth not his mouth:

And behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

I and the Father are one.The Jews took up stones again to stone him.

He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father that sent him.Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgment, but hath passed out of death into life.Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour cometh, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God; and they that hear shall live.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.

And Pilate again asked him, saying, Answerest thou nothing? behold how many things they accuse thee of.But Jesus no more answered anything; insomuch that Pilate marvelled.

and he entered into the Prætorium again, and saith unto Jesus, Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer.

Nathanael answered him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art King of Israel.Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee underneath the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye shall see the heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.
