耶穌回答他們說：「你們拆毀這殿，我三日內要把它重建。」

因為我們知道，我們這地上的帳篷若拆毀了，我們將有上帝所造的居所，不是人手所造的，而是在天上永存的。

但現在基督已經來到，作了已實現的美事的大祭司，經過那更大更全備的帳幕，不是人手所造，也不是屬於這世界的；

因為基督並沒有進了人手所造的聖所－這不過是真聖所的影像－而是進到天上，如今為我們出現在上帝面前。。

從那裏經過的人譏笑他，搖着頭，說：「哼！你這拆毀殿、三日又建造起來的，

其實，至高者並不住人手所造的，就如先知所言：

你既看見非人手鑿出來的一塊石頭從山而出，打碎鐵、銅、泥、銀、金，那就是至大的上帝把將來要發生的事給王指明。這夢是確實的，這解釋也是準確的。」

你正觀看，見有一塊非人手鑿出來的石頭打在它半鐵半泥的腳上，把腳砸碎；
