“ Am I leading a band of armed men against you?” asked Jesus.“ Do you have to come out with swords and clubs to capture me?

耶穌對他們說：「你們帶着刀棒出來拿我，如同拿強盜嗎？

耶穌回應他們說：「你們帶着刀棒出來拿我，如同拿強盜嗎？

耶穌回應他們說：「你們帶着刀棒出來拿我，如同拿強盜嗎？

耶穌問那群人：「你們像對付強盜一樣拿著刀棍來抓我嗎？

耶穌對他們說：“你們帶著刀棒出來，把我當作強盜捉拿嗎？

耶穌應時對他們說：『你們出來，帶着刀棒要捉拿我，如同拿強盜呀！

耶穌對他們說：「你們帶著刀劍和棍棒出來抓我，就像對付強盜那樣嗎？

耶穌語眾曰、爾以刃與梃來執我、若捕盜乎、

耶穌謂眾曰、爾以刃與梃來執我、若禦寇乎、

耶穌語眾曰、爾執刃與梃來執我、若捕盜然、

耶穌向眾曰：『爾輩持梃手刃、執予如捕盜。

“ Am I leading a rebellion,” said Jesus,“ that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture me?

And Jesus said to them,“ Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs to capture me?

Jesus asked them,“ Am I some dangerous revolutionary, that you come with swords and clubs to arrest me?

Jesus said to them,“ Have you come out with swords and clubs, as if I were a criminal, to capture me?

And Jesus said to them,“ Have you come out with swords and clubs to arrest Me, as you would against a man inciting a revolt?

Then Jesus answered and said to them,“ Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to take Me?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a robber, with swords and staves to seize me?

But Jesus said to them,“ Have you come out with swords and clubs, as though I were a criminal, to capture Me?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and[ with] staves to take me?

Jesus said to them,“ Have you come with swords and clubs to arrest me like you would an outlaw?

Jesus answered them,“ Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to seize me?

Then Jesus spoke to the chief priests, the officers of the temple guard, and the elders. They had all come for him.“ Am I leading a band of armed men against you?” he asked.“ Do you have to come with swords and clubs?Every day I was with you in the temple courtyard. And you didn’t lay a hand on me. But this is your hour. This is when darkness rules.”

“ King Saul, who are you trying to catch? Who do you think you are chasing? I’m nothing but a dead dog or a flea!May the Lord be our judge. May he decide between us. May he consider my case and stand up for me. May he show that I’m not guilty of doing anything wrong. May he save me from you.”

He continued,“ Why are you chasing me? What evil thing have I done? What am I guilty of?

At that time Jesus spoke to the crowd.“ Am I leading a band of armed men against you?” he asked.“ Do you have to come out with swords and clubs to capture me? Every day I sat in the temple courtyard teaching. And you didn’t arrest me.
