先是鬻主者曾予眾以號曰：『我所吻者即是、爾等當執而縛送之。』

Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them:“ The one I kiss is the man; arrest him and lead him away under guard.”

Judas, who was going to hand Jesus over, had arranged a signal with them.“ The one I kiss is the man,” he said.“ Arrest him and have the guards lead him away.”

Now the betrayer had given them a sign, saying,“ The one I will kiss is the man. Seize him and lead him away under guard.”

The traitor, Judas, had given them a prearranged signal:“ You will know which one to arrest when I greet him with a kiss. Then you can take him away under guard.”

那賣耶穌的給了他們一個暗號，說：「我與誰親嘴，誰就是他。你們可以拿住他。」猶大隨即到耶穌跟前，說：「請拉比安」，就與他親嘴。耶穌對他說：「朋友，你來要做的事，就做吧。」於是那些人上前，下手拿住耶穌。

朋友加的傷痕出於忠誠；仇敵連連親嘴卻是多餘。

現在我既是恩待你們，求你們指着耶和華向我起誓，也要恩待我父家，並給我一個實在的證據，

這血要在你們所住的房屋上作記號；我一見這血，就越過你們去。我擊殺埃及地頭生的時候，災殃必不臨到你們身上滅你們。」

打了許多棍，便將他們下在監裏，囑咐禁卒嚴緊看守。

他背了約，伸手攻擊與他和好的人。他的口如奶油光滑，他的心卻懷着爭戰；他的話比油柔和，其實是拔出來的刀。

我－保羅親筆問你們安。凡我的信都以此為記，我的筆跡就是這樣。

凡事不怕敵人的驚嚇，這是證明他們沉淪，你們得救都是出於神。

請你們回去，再確實查明他的住處和行蹤，是誰看見他在那裏，因為我聽見人說他甚狡猾。所以要看準他藏匿的地方，回來據實地告訴我，我就與你們同去。他若在猶大的境內，我必從千門萬戶中搜出他來。」

約押左手拾起刀來，對亞瑪撒說：「我兄弟，你好啊！」就用右手抓住亞瑪撒的鬍子，要與他親嘴。亞瑪撒沒有防備約押手裏所拿的刀；約押用刀刺入他的肚腹，他的腸子流在地上，沒有再刺他，就死了。約押和他兄弟亞比篩往前追趕比基利的兒子示巴。
