“诸位弟兄，圣经的话必须应验。圣经中，圣灵曾藉大卫的口预先说到那领人来拿耶稣的犹大；

犹大领了一队兵，以及祭司长和法利赛人的圣殿警卫，拿着灯笼、火把和兵器来到园里。耶稣知道将要临到自己的一切事，就出来对他们说：“你们找谁？”他们回答他：“拿撒勒人耶稣。”耶稣对他们说：“我就是。”出卖他的犹大也同他们站在一起。耶稣一对他们说“我就是”，他们就退后，倒在地上。他又问他们：“你们找谁？”他们说：“拿撒勒人耶稣。”耶稣回答：“我已经告诉你们，我就是。你们若找的是我，就让这些人走吧。”这要应验耶稣说过的话：“你所赐给我的人，我一个也不失落。”西门‧彼得带着一把刀，就拔出来，把大祭司的仆人砍了一刀，削掉了他的右耳，那仆人名叫马勒古。于是耶稣对彼得说：“收刀入鞘吧！我父给我的杯，我岂可不喝呢？”

耶稣还在说话的时候，十二使徒之一的犹大来了，还有一大群人带着刀棒，从祭司长和百姓的长老那里跟他同来。那出卖耶稣的给了他们一个暗号，说：“我亲谁，谁就是。你们把他抓住。”犹大立刻进前来对耶稣说：“拉比，你好！”就跟他亲吻。耶稣对他说：“朋友，你来要做的事，就做吧。”于是那些人上前，下手抓住耶稣。忽然，有一个和耶稣一起的人伸手拔出刀来，把大祭司的仆人砍了一刀，削掉了他一只耳朵。耶稣对他说：“收刀入鞘吧！凡动刀的，必死在刀下。你想我不能求我父，现在为我差遣比十二营还多的天使来吗？若是这样，经上所说事情必须如此发生的话怎么应验呢？”就在那时，耶稣对众人说：“你们带着刀棒出来抓我，如同拿强盗吗？我天天坐在圣殿里教导人，你们并没有抓我。但这整件事的发生，是要应验先知书上的话。”那时，门徒都离开他，逃走了。

耶稣还在说话的时候，来了一群人。十二使徒之一名叫犹大的，走在前头，接近耶稣，要亲他。耶稣对他说：“犹大，你用亲吻来出卖人子吗？”左右的人见了要发生的事，就说：“主啊，我们拿刀砍好不好？”其中有一个人把大祭司的仆人砍了一刀，削掉了他的右耳。耶稣回答说：“算了，住手吧！”就摸那人的耳朵，把他治好了。耶稣对那些来抓他的祭司长、守殿官和长老说：“你们带着刀棒出来，如同对付强盗吗？我天天同你们在圣殿里，你们不下手抓我。现在却是你们的时候，黑暗掌权了。”

耶和华啊，我的敌人何其增多！许多人起来攻击我。许多人议论我：“他得不到上帝的帮助。”（细拉）

列国为什么争闹？万民为什么图谋虚妄？世上的君王都站稳，臣宰一同算计，要对抗耶和华，对抗他的受膏者：

求你不要远离我！因为灾难临头，无人帮助。许多公牛环绕我，巴珊大力的公牛四面围困我。它们向我张口，好像猎食吼叫的狮子。
