『兄弟乎！聖神假大維之口、預言茹達斯引捕耶穌、此經已見應驗；

時茹答斯乃領兵士一隊、與司祭長法利塞人所派人員、提燈炬、執武器而至。耶穌夙知諸事之必臨於身、乃出而謂之曰：『爾等覓誰？』眾對曰：『納匝勒之耶穌！』耶穌告之曰：『是我！』時奸徒茹答斯亦立眾中。耶穌甫言：「是我、」眾皆逡巡仆地。耶穌乃復問曰：『爾等覓誰？』眾曰『納匝勒之耶穌也！』耶穌曰：『已語爾是我；既欲執我、請勿累及此輩、任其散去。』此亦所以應驗其所言「凡父所賜於予者、一無所失」云耳。西門伯鐸祿乃抽所佩刃、擊大司祭僕、名馬勒古者、削其右耳。耶穌謂伯鐸祿曰『收刃入鞘、父所賜我之爵、可不飲乎？』

言際、十二徒之一茹答斯者果至、群人手刃興梃而隨之、蓋均為司祭長及民間耆老所遣者。鬻主者先已示眾以密號曰：『予與親吻者即是、可速執之。』至是乃趨耶穌之前、曰：『夫子平安！』且與之吻。耶穌曰：『友乎、爾來何為？』於是眾蠭擁而至、遂執耶穌。時耶穌從者某、拔刀砍大司祭僕、削其耳。耶穌曰：『納爾刀於鞘！蓋操刀者必傷於刀也。汝試思之、予豈不能求之吾父、即遣十二營以上之天神以臨之？如是則經所載必經之事、又將安從而應驗耶？』顧語眾曰：『爾手刃持梃、捕予一如捕盜。予曩者日坐殿中施訓於爾、何不執之？然此亦所以應驗先知所紀耳。』至是、門徒盡離耶穌、奔逃四散矣。

言末竟、而眾已至、十二徒之一名茹答斯者、為之先導、趨耶穌而吻之、耶穌曰：『茹答斯汝竟以一吻付人子耶？』左右見事急、謂耶穌曰：『主、可舉劍以擊乎？』一徒擊總司祭僕、削其右耳、耶穌曰：『且容之。』輕撫其人之耳而愈之。同來執耶穌者、有司祭諸長殿庶司及長老。耶穌謂之曰：『爾等竟手刃持挺而出、一若捕盜耶？予日在殿中與爾眾俱、而爾未曾執予、惟今乃爾曹之時、黑闇乘權矣。』

何列邦之擾攘兮。何萬民之猖狂。世酋蠭起兮。跋扈飛揚。共圖背叛天主兮。反抗受命之王。

溯自予之有生兮。向承吾主之恩撫。即予之尚在胎中兮。主亦未始非予之所怙。今大難已臨而援手無人兮。吾主寧能捐棄而不顧。健牡紛紛兮。圍我周匝。來自巴珊兮。洶洶相逼。
