耶稣稍往前走，俯伏在地，祷告说，如果有可能，让那时刻离开他。

那时，他教导自己的门徒们，对他们说：“人子被交在人的手中，他们要杀害他。然后被杀之后，在第三天他要复活。”

耶稣说完了这些话，就举目望天，说：“父啊，时候到了！愿你荣耀你的儿子，好让儿子也荣耀你，

“现在我的灵魂烦扰。我该说什么呢？说‘父啊，救我脱离这时刻’吗？但我正是为了这时刻而来的。

耶稣回答他们，说：“人子得荣耀的时候到了！

那时候，加略人犹大，就是十二使徒中的一个，到祭司长们那里去，要把耶稣交给他们。

这些话是耶稣在圣殿的奉献箱附近教导人的时候说的。可是没有人抓他，因为他的时候还没有到。

“你们知道，过两天就是逾越节，人子要被交出去钉上十字架。”

青年人哪，你当在年少时欢喜；在青春的日子里，使你的心快乐！你当照着你心所愿、眼所见的去行；但你要知道，神必为这一切事审判你。

有哪一位先知，你们的祖先不逼迫呢？他们杀了那些预言那义者要来的先知，现在你们又成为那义者的出卖者和凶手了。

然后，他回到门徒们那里，对他们说：“你们还在睡觉、休息吗？看哪，时候快到了！人子被交在罪人的手里了。起来，我们走吧！看，那出卖我的人快到了！”

耶稣又对他们说：“你们为了要守住你们的传统，竟然弃绝了神的命令！

逾越节前，耶稣知道他离开这世界回到父那里去的时候到了。他一直爱世界上那些属自己的人，并且爱他们到底。晚餐的时候，魔鬼已经把出卖耶稣的念头放在加略人西门的儿子犹大的心里。

因此他们想要抓耶稣，只是没有人下手，因为他的时候还没有到。

说：“看，我们现在上耶路撒冷去，人子将被出卖给祭司长们和经文士们。他们要定他死罪，并且要把他交给外邦人。他们要戏弄他、向他吐唾沫、鞭打他，并杀害他；然后在第三天，他要复活。”

他们坐着吃饭的时候，耶稣说：“我确实地告诉你们：你们当中有一个人要出卖我，他正与我一起吃饭。”
