耶穌曰、我誠語汝、今夜鷄二鳴之先、爾將三言不識我矣、

耶穌曰：『吾實告汝、今宵雞未二嗚、行見爾三不認予矣！』

“ Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered,“ today— yes, tonight— before the rooster crows twice you yourself will disown me three times.”

“ What I’m about to tell you is true,” Jesus answered.“ It will happen today, in fact tonight. Before the rooster crows twice, you yourself will say three times that you don’t know me.”

And Jesus said to him,“ Truly, I tell you, this very night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.”

Jesus replied,“ I tell you the truth, Peter— this very night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny three times that you even know me.”

“ Truly I tell you,” Jesus said to him,“ today, this very night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.”

And Jesus* said to him,“ Truly I say to you, that this very night, before a rooster crows twice, you yourself will deny Me three times.”

Jesus said to him,“ Assuredly, I say to you that today, even this night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.”

And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, that thou to- day, even this night, before the cock crow twice, shalt deny me thrice.

“ I assure you,” Jesus said to him,“ today, this very night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times!”

And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day,[ even] in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.

Jesus said to him,“ I tell you the truth, today– this very night– before a rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.”

Jesus said to him,“ Most certainly I tell you, that you today, even this night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.”

耶穌曰、爾為我捐生乎、我誠語汝、鷄尚未鳴、爾將三言不識我矣、

彼得在院內、大祭司之婢至、見彼得向火、目之曰、爾亦偕拿撒勒人耶穌者、彼得弗承、曰、我不知、亦不識爾云何也、遂出、至前院、鷄即鳴、婢見之、復語旁立者曰、彼亦其黨、彼得復不承、頃之、旁立者謂之曰、爾誠其黨、以爾乃加利利人也、彼得詛且誓曰、爾所言若人、我不識也、鷄再鳴矣、彼得憶耶穌所言、鷄二鳴之先、爾將三言不識我、思之則哭矣、

故自以為立者、慎勿傾也、

謂光為晝、謂暗為夜、有夕有朝、是乃一日、○

眾執耶穌、曳至大祭司宅、彼得遙從之、眾於院中、燃火同坐、彼得亦坐其間、有婢見彼得向火而坐、注視之、曰、此人亦偕之、彼得不承、曰、女乎、我不識之、有頃、又一人見之、曰、爾亦其黨、彼得曰、人乎、非也、逾半時、復一人力言曰、此人實偕之、蓋加利利人也、彼得曰、人乎、我不識爾云何也、言時、鷄即鳴、主回顧彼得、彼得憶主之言曰、鷄鳴之先、爾將三言不識我、遂出而痛哭、○

婢謂彼得曰、爾亦斯人之徒乎、曰非也、

時西門彼得立而向火、或謂之曰、爾亦其徒乎、彼得弗承曰、非也、有大祭司之僕、即彼得削其耳者之戚、曰、我非見爾偕彼於園乎、彼得復不承、鷄即鳴矣、○

彼得坐於院、有婢前曰、爾亦偕加利利人耶穌也、彼得於眾前弗承、曰、我不知爾言何也、出、至院門、又一婢見之、語同在者曰、彼亦偕拿撒勒人耶穌者、彼得又弗承、且誓曰、我不識其人也、少頃、旁立者前語彼得曰、爾誠其黨、爾方言可證矣、彼得詛且誓曰、我不識其人也、鷄即鳴、彼得憶耶穌言云、鷄未鳴、爾將三言不識我、乃出而痛哭、

曰彼得、我語汝、今日鷄尚未鳴、爾將三言不識我矣、○
