While he was in Bethany, reclining at the table in the home of Simon the Leper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on his head.

Jesus was in Bethany. He was at the table in the home of Simon, who had a skin disease. A woman came with a special sealed jar. It contained very expensive perfume made out of pure nard. She broke the jar open and poured the perfume on Jesus’ head.

And while he was at Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he was reclining at table, a woman came with an alabaster flask of ointment of pure nard, very costly, and she broke the flask and poured it over his head.

Meanwhile, Jesus was in Bethany at the home of Simon, a man who had previously had leprosy. While he was eating, a woman came in with a beautiful alabaster jar of expensive perfume made from essence of nard. She broke open the jar and poured the perfume over his head.

And while he was in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster cruse of ointment of pure nard very costly; and she brake the cruse, and poured it over his head.

While He was in Bethany at the house of Simon who had a serious skin disease, as He was reclining at the table, a woman came with an alabaster jar of pure and expensive fragrant oil of nard. She broke the jar and poured it on His head.

And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured[ it] on his head.

Now while Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, reclining at the table, a woman came with an alabaster jar of costly aromatic oil from pure nard. After breaking open the jar, she poured it on his head.

這馬利亞就是後來用香膏抹主，並且用頭髮把主的腳擦乾的那人；患病的拉撒路是她的兄弟。

那城裡有一個女人，是個罪人，她知道耶穌在法利賽人家裡吃飯，就拿著一玉瓶香膏，站在耶穌背後，挨近他的腳哭，她開始用淚水沾濕他的腳，然後用自己的頭髮擦乾，又不住地吻他的腳，並且抹上香膏。請他的法利賽人看見了，心裡說：“這人若是先知，必定知道摸他的是誰，是怎樣的女人，因為她是個罪人！”

逾越節前六天，耶穌到了伯大尼，就是拉撒路所住的地方；耶穌曾經使這拉撒路從死人中復活。有人在那裡為耶穌預備了筵席。馬大在那裡侍候，拉撒路也和一些人與耶穌一同吃飯。馬利亞拿了半公斤珍貴純正的哪噠香膏，抹耶穌的腳，又用自己的頭髮去擦；屋裡就滿了香膏的香氣。耶穌的一個門徒，就是那要出賣他的加略人猶大，說：“為甚麼不把這香膏賣三百銀幣，賙濟窮人呢？”他說這話，並不是因為他關懷窮人，而是因為他是個賊，又帶著錢囊，常取其中所存的。耶穌就說：“由她吧，這香膏是她留下來為我安葬的日子用的。你們常常有窮人跟你們在一起，卻不常有我。”

耶穌在伯大尼，在患痲風的西門家裡的時候，有一個女人拿著一瓶珍貴的香膏前來，當耶穌坐席的時候，把它澆在耶穌的頭上。門徒看見了，就很生氣，說：“為甚麼這樣浪費呢？這香膏可以賣很多錢，賙濟窮人。”耶穌知道了，就說：“為甚麼難為這個女人呢？她為我作了一件美事。你們常常有窮人跟你們在一起，然而卻不常有我。她把這香膏澆在我身上，是為了安葬我而作的。我實在告訴你們，這福音無論傳到世界上甚麼地方，這女人所作的都要傳講，來記念她。”

於是離開他們，出了城，來到伯大尼，在那裡過了一夜。

我起來，要給我的良人開門；我的兩手滴下沒藥，指頭滴下沒藥，滴在門閂上。

你所栽種的是一所石榴園，有極美的果子，有鳳仙花和哪噠樹。有哪噠和番紅花，菖蒲和肉桂，以及各種乳香樹、沒藥和沉香，與各樣精選的香料。
