耶穌對他們說：「看哪！你們進了城，會有一個人提著一罐水迎面而來，你們就跟著他，到他所進的那一家去，對那家的主人說：『老師問你：我與我的門徒們一起吃逾越節晚餐的客房在哪裡呢？』他會給你們看樓上一間布置好的大房間，你們就在那裡預備吧。」他們去了，看到的正如耶穌對他們所說的。他們就預備了逾越節的晚餐。

並且被造之物在神面前，沒有一樣不是顯明的；萬有在他眼前，都是赤裸敞開的；我們都要向他交代。

他的母親對僕人們說：「他吩咐你們什麼，你們就做什麼。」

你們如果遵行我所吩咐的事，你們就是我的朋友了。

說：「你們到對面的村子裡去。你們一進村，就會發現一頭驢駒拴在那裡，是從來沒有人騎過的。你們把牠解開牽過來。如果有人問你們為什麼解開牠，你們就這樣說『主需要牠。』」被差派的人去了，發現事情正如耶穌所告訴他們的。在他們解開驢駒的時候，驢的主人們問他們：「你們為什麼解開這驢駒呢？」

耶穌說：「你們進城去，到某人那裡，告訴他：『老師說，我的時候快到了。我要在你那裡與我的門徒們一起守逾越節。』」門徒們就依照耶穌所吩咐的去做，預備了逾越節的晚餐。

對他們說：「你們到對面的村子裡去。你們一進村，就會發現一頭驢駒拴在那裡，是從來沒有人騎過的。你們把牠解開牽過來。如果有人問你們為什麼這麼做，你們就說『主需要牠，會很快把牠送回這裡來的。』」

他既然得以完全，就為所有順從他的人成了永恆救恩的本源，
