耶穌回答說：「你們進城的時候，一個男子會扛著一瓶水迎面走來，你們要跟著他，他進哪所房子，你們也進去，對房子的主人說，『老師問你客房在哪裡，祂要和門徒在裡面吃逾越節的晚餐。』那主人會帶你們到樓上一間佈置整齊的大房間，你們就在那裡預備吧。」他們進了城，所遇見的果然和耶穌所說的一樣。他們便在那裡預備逾越節的晚餐。

受造物在上帝面前都無法隱藏，因為萬物都是赤裸裸地暴露在上帝眼前，我們必須向祂交帳。

祂母親對僕人說：「祂叫你們做什麼，你們就做什麼。」

你們如果照我的吩咐去做，就是我的朋友。

「你們去前面的村莊，進村的時候，必看見一頭從來沒有人騎過的驢駒拴在那裡，你們把牠解開牽來。若有人問你們為什麼把牠解開，就說，『主要用牠。』」兩個門徒出去後，所遇見的情形正如耶穌所說的。當他們解開驢駒時，主人果然問他們：「你們為什麼解開驢駒？」

耶穌說：「你們進城去，到某人那裡對他說，『老師說祂的時候到了，祂要與門徒在你家中過逾越節。』」門徒照耶穌的吩咐準備了逾越節的晚餐。

對他們說：「你們去前面的村莊，一進村就會看見一頭從來沒有人騎過的驢駒拴在那裡，你們把牠解開牽來。若有人問你們為什麼這樣做，就說，『主要用牠，很快會把牠送回來。』」

祂既然達到了純全的地步，就成了永恆救恩的源頭，使所有順服祂的人都得到拯救。
