On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, when it was customary to sacrifice the Passover lamb, Jesus’ disciples asked him,“ Where do you want us to go and make preparations for you to eat the Passover?”

It was the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. That was the time to sacrifice the Passover lamb. Jesus’ disciples asked him,“ Where do you want us to go and prepare for you to eat the Passover meal?”

And on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they sacrificed the Passover lamb, his disciples said to him,“ Where will you have us go and prepare for you to eat the Passover?”

你們要把羊羔留到本月十四日，在黃昏的時候（“在黃昏的時候”直譯是“兩黃昏之間”），以色列全體會眾要把羊羔宰殺。

當那一夜，你們要吃羊羔的肉，肉要用火烤了，和無酵餅與苦菜一同吃，

從正月十四日晚上起，直到本月二十一日晚上止，你們要吃無酵餅。

“你要守亞筆月，向耶和華你的神守逾越節，因為耶和華你的神在亞筆月的一個晚上，把你從埃及地領出來。你要在耶和華選擇立為他名的居所的地方，把羊和牛作逾越節的祭牲獻給耶和華你的神。你吃這祭的時候，不可和有酵的餅一同吃；七日之內，你要吃無酵餅，就是困苦餅，因為你是急急忙忙從埃及地出來的，好使你一生的年日都可以記念你從埃及地出來的日子。七天之內，在你的全境不可見有酵。第一天晚上你獻的祭肉，一點也不可剩下，留到早晨。

摩西對人民說：“你們要記念這一天，就是從埃及為奴之家出來的這一天，因為耶和華用大能的手把你們從這裡領出來；所以有酵之物都不可以吃。

但到了時機成熟，神就差遣他的兒子，由女人所生，而且生在律法之下，

你們既是無酵的麵，就應當把舊酵除淨，好讓你們成為新的麵團；因為我們逾越節的羊羔基督已經被殺獻祭了。所以我們守這節，不可用舊酵，也不可用又邪又惡的酵，而是要用純潔真實的無酵餅。

除酵日到了，在這一天應當宰殺逾越節的羊羔。耶穌差派彼得和約翰，說：“你們去為我們預備逾越節的晚餐給我們吃。”他們說：“你要我們在哪裡預備呢？”他說：“你們進了城，必有一個人頂著水罐，迎面而來，你們就跟著他，到他所進的那一家，對家主說，老師問你：‘客廳在哪裡？我和門徒好在那裡吃逾越節的晚餐。’他必指示你們樓上一間布置整齊的大房子，你們就在那裡預備。”他們去了，所遇見的正像耶穌所說的一樣，就預備好了逾越節的晚餐。

“‘正月十四日，是耶和華的逾越節。這月十五日是節期；要吃無酵餅七日。第一日要有聖會，甚麼勞碌的工都不可作，

除酵節的第一天，門徒前來問耶穌：“你要我們在哪裡為你預備逾越節的晚餐呢？”他說：“你們到城裡去見某人，對他說，老師說：‘我的時候快到了；我要到你那裡和我的門徒守逾越節。’”門徒照耶穌的指示去作，預備好了逾越節的晚餐。

“正月十四日黃昏的時候（“黃昏的時候”直譯是“兩黃昏之間”），是耶和華的逾越節。這月十五日是耶和華的無酵節；你們要吃無酵餅七日。

耶穌回答：“暫且這樣作吧。我們理當這樣履行全部的義。”於是約翰答應了他。
