为什么万国悖逆，万民图谋虚妄的事呢？地上的君王们站出来，首领们一同商定，敌对耶和华和他的受膏者，说：“让我们挣断他们的捆绑，把他们的绳索从我们身上甩掉！”坐在天上的那一位会讥笑，主会嘲笑他们。那时他在怒气中向他们说话，在烈怒中使他们惶恐，说：

那些法利赛人就出去，商议怎样对付耶稣，好除灭他。

卑贱的人不过是虚空，尊贵的人也只是虚幻；把他们放在天平上，他们那边就向上升，他们加起来比空气还轻。

你曾经藉着圣灵，用你的仆人——我们先祖大卫的口说：‘列国为什么狂怒骚乱，众民为什么图谋虚空？地上的众君王都起来，首领们也聚集在一起，抵挡主和他的基督。’“事实上，希律和本丢彼拉多，与外邦人和以色列子民果然在这城里一同聚集，对付你所膏立的圣仆耶稣，做成了你手和你计划所预定要成就的一切事。

求你隐藏我，脱离作恶者的密谋，脱离作孽者的扰乱。他们磨快自己的舌头，如同刀剑；他们发出苦毒的话语，好像弦上的箭，为要从隐秘处射纯全人；他们突然射他，肆无忌惮。他们彼此怂恿去做恶事，彼此商量要暗设陷阱，说：“谁能看见呢？”他们筹划不义，说：“我们所筹划的计谋定好了。”人的意念和心思实在深不可测。

从那天起，他们就商议要把耶稣杀掉。因此，耶稣不再公开地在犹太人当中行事，而是离开那里，到旷野附近的地方，进了一个叫以法莲的城，在那里与门徒们住下了。犹太人的逾越节快到了。许多人从乡下上耶路撒冷去，要在节日前洁净自己。他们寻找耶稣，站在圣殿里彼此谈论说：“你们怎么看，他绝不会来过节吧？”原来，祭司长们和法利赛人早就下令，如果有人知道耶稣在哪里，就要报告，好抓住他。

“你们知道，过两天就是逾越节，人子要被交出去钉上十字架。”那时，祭司长们和民间的长老们聚集在叫该亚法的大祭司的宅院里，商议要用诡计拘捕耶稣，把他杀掉。不过他们说：“不可在节日期间，免得民中发生骚乱。”

于是祭司长们和法利赛人召集了议会，说：“这个人行了很多神迹，我们该做什么呢？

他们彼此商议，只为把他从高位上赶下来；他们喜悦虚谎，口中虽祝福，心中却诅咒。细拉

你喜爱作恶胜过行善，喜爱撒谎胜过说公正的话。细拉

所以你施舍的时候，不要在自己前面吹号，像伪善的人那样。他们在会堂里和大街上这样做，是为了要得人的荣耀。我确实地告诉你们：他们已经得到了他们的报偿。
