我的肺腑，我的肺腑啊！我绞痛欲绝。我的心哪！我的心在我里面颤抖，我不能缄默不语。我的灵啊！我听见了号角的声音，也听见了战争的吶喊。毁灭的消息频传，因为全国尽都毁坏，我的帐棚忽然毁坏，我的幔子转瞬破裂。我看见旗号要到几时呢？我听见号角的声音要到几时呢？

“这子民所称为阴谋的，你们都不要称为阴谋；他们所怕的，你们不要怕，也不要畏惧。

他必不因坏消息惧怕；他的心坚定，倚靠耶和华。

你们不要心惊胆怯，也不要因在境内听到的谣言惧怕；因为今年有谣言传来，明年也会有谣言传来，境内有强暴的事，官长互相攻击。

神是我们的避难所，是我们的力量，是我们在患难中随时都可得到的帮助。因此，地虽然震动，群山虽然崩塌入海洋的深处，我们也不害怕。虽然海浪翻腾澎湃，虽然山岳因波涛汹涌摇动，我们也不害怕。（细拉）

“你们心里不要难过，你们应当信神，也应当信我。

我们都是必死的，像水泼在地上不能收回来一样；但神并不取去人的命，反而设法使逃亡的人不致永远离开他逃亡。
