因为必有假基督和假先知出现，行神迹和奇事，如果可以的话，连选民也要迷惑了。

因为必有假基督和假先知出现，显大神迹和奇事；如果可以的话，他们连选民也要迷惑。

我的羊听我的声音，我也认识他们，他们也跟随我。我赐给他们永生，他们永不灭亡，谁也不能把他们从我手里夺去。

那时，这不法的人必要显露出来。主耶稣要用自己口中的气除掉他，以自己再来所显现的光辉消灭他。这不法的人来到，是照着撒但的行动，行各样的异能奇迹和荒诞的事，并且在那些沉沦的人身上，行各样不义的欺诈，因为他们不领受爱真理的心，使他们得救。因此，神就使错谬的思想运行在他们当中，让他们相信虚谎，叫所有不信真理倒喜爱不义的人，都被定罪。主所爱的弟兄们，我们应该常常为你们感谢神，因为他从起初就拣选了你们，藉着圣灵成圣的工作，和你们对真道的信心，使你们可以得救。因此，神藉着我们所传的福音呼召你们，使你们得着我们主耶稣基督的荣耀。

“提防假先知！他们披着羊皮到你们当中，里面却是残暴的狼。

耶稣对他说：“你们若看不见神迹奇事，总是不肯信。”

它又行大奇事，甚至在人面前叫火从天上降在地上。它得了能力，在头一只兽面前能行奇事，迷惑了住在地上的人，吩咐住在地上的人，要为那受过刀伤而还活着的兽做个像。

有许多人要来，假冒我的名说‘我就是基督’，并且要迷惑许多的人。

所有住在地上的人，名字没有记在创世以来被杀的羊羔之生命册上的，都要拜它。

他们从我们中间离去，这就表明他们是不属于我们的。其实他们并不属于我们，如果真的属于我们，就一定会留在我们中间。

然而，神坚固的根基已经立定，上面刻着这样的印：“主认识属于他的人”和“凡称呼主名的人都应当离开不义”。

我把这些事写给你们，是指着那些欺骗你们的人说的。

你看见的那兽，先前在、现今不在、将来要从无底坑上来，然后走向灭亡。住在世上的人，凡是名字在创世以来没有记在生命册上的，看见了那先前在、现今不在、将来还要出现的兽，就都要惊奇。
