爾觀先知但以理所言、指殘賊可惡之物、立不當立之地、讀者宜致思焉、時、在猶太者、當避於山、

爾見先知但以理所言、殘賊可惡之物、立不當立之地、讀者當思之、時、在猶太者、當逃於山、

惟見慘無人道之事、入禁地（讀者其深味斯言、）則在猶太者當避入深山、

“ When you see‘ the abomination that causes desolation’ standing where it does not belong— let the reader understand— then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

“ You will see‘ the hated thing that destroys.’( Daniel 9:27; 11:31; 12:11) It will stand where it does not belong. The reader should understand this. Then those who are in Judea should escape to the mountains.

“ But when you see the abomination of desolation standing where he ought not to be( let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

“ The day is coming when you will see the sacrilegious object that causes desecration standing where he should not be.”( Reader, pay attention!)“ Then those in Judea must flee to the hills.

But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not,( let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

But when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not”( let the reader understand),“ then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains,

“ And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.”

And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation.

Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

The adversary has spread his hand Over all her pleasant things; For she has seen the nations enter her sanctuary, Those whom You commanded Not to enter Your assembly.

Brethren, do not be children in understanding; however, in malice be babes, but in understanding be mature.

“ But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near.Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her.For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people.And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said to that certain one who was speaking,“ How long will the vision be, concerning the daily sacrifices and the transgression of desolation, the giving of both the sanctuary and the host to be trampled under foot?”

Thus says the Lord GOD:“ No foreigner, uncircumcised in heart or uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter My sanctuary, including any foreigner who is among the children of Israel.

So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said,“ Do you understand what you are reading?”And he said,“ How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him.

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

Jesus said to them,“ Have you understood all these things?” They said to Him,“ Yes, Lord.”

“ Therefore when you see the‘ abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place”( whoever reads, let him understand),“ then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house.And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes.But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days!And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath.For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.“ Then if anyone says to you,‘ Look, here is the Christ!’ or‘ There!’ do not believe it.For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.See, I have told you beforehand.“ Therefore if they say to you,‘ Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or‘ Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it.For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.

Even things without life, whether flute or harp, when they make a sound, unless they make a distinction in the sounds, how will it be known what is piped or played?For if the trumpet makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare for battle?
