“ When you see‘ the abomination that causes desolation’ standing where it does not belong— let the reader understand— then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

“ You will see‘ the hated thing that destroys.’( Daniel 9:27; 11:31; 12:11) It will stand where it does not belong. The reader should understand this. Then those who are in Judea should escape to the mountains.

“ But when you see the abomination of desolation standing where he ought not to be( let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

“ The day is coming when you will see the sacrilegious object that causes desecration standing where he should not be.”( Reader, pay attention!)“ Then those in Judea must flee to the hills.

从常献的祭被废除，并那带来荒凉的可憎者被设立的时候，必有一千两百九十天；

他将与许多人订立一个‘七’之久的坚固盟约；而在半个‘七’的时候，他将使祭物和供物止息。在那些可憎者的羽翼上，必出现一个带来荒凉的人，直到那被注定的灭绝倾泻在这带来荒凉的人身上。”

他派出的军队会起来亵渎那作为堡垒的圣所，并废除常献的祭，设立那带来荒凉的可憎者。

智慧就在这里。有理性的人应当计算这兽的数目，因为这是一个人的数目；其数目是六百六十六。

弟兄们，你们在思想上不要做小孩子，但是在恶事上要做婴孩，在思想上要做成熟的人。

“当你们看见耶路撒冷被军队包围的时候，你们那时就应当知道它的毁灭近了。那时，在犹太的人应当逃到山里；在城里的人应当出来；在乡下的人不要进城；因为这是报应的日子，为要应验经上所记载的一切。在那些日子里，孕妇和哺乳的女人有祸了！因为将有大苦难临到这地，也有震怒临到这民。他们将倒在刀口下，被掳到各国去。耶路撒冷将要被外邦人践踏，直到外邦人的日期满了。

然后我听见一位圣者在说话，又有一位圣者问那说话的：“这异象，就是有关常献的祭、带来荒凉的罪过、圣所和天军被践踏之事，要到什么时候呢？”

腓利跑过去，听见他正在诵读先知以赛亚的书，就问：“难道你真的明白你所读的吗？”太监回答说：“如果没有人指教我，我怎么能明白呢？”他就请腓利上来和他同坐。

那宣读这预言之话的，那些听见这预言之话并遵守其中所记载的，都是蒙福的，因为时候快到了。

耶稣问他们：“这一切你们都领悟了吗？”他们说：“是的，领悟了。”

“当你们看见藉着先知但以理所说的‘那带来毁灭的亵渎者’站在圣地的时候——读者应当思考——那时，在犹太的人应当逃到山里；在屋顶上的人，不要下来拿屋子里的东西；在田里的人，不要返回去拿自己的衣服。在那些日子里，孕妇和哺乳的女人有祸了！你们要祷告，好让你们逃难的时候不在冬天，也不在安息日。因为那时将有大患难。这样的患难从世界开始直到如今，从来没有发生过，也绝不再发生。如果那些日子不被减少，就没有一个人能得救。可是为了那些蒙拣选的人，那些日子将被减少。“那时候，如果有人对你们说‘看哪，基督在这里！’或‘他在那里！’你们不要相信。因为假基督们和假先知们会出现，行大神迹和奇事，如果有可能，甚至迷惑那些蒙拣选的人。看哪，我已经预先告诉你们了！所以，如果有人对你们说‘看哪，基督在旷野里！’你们不要出去；有人说：‘看哪，他在内室里！’你们也不要相信；因为就像闪电从东边发出，直照到西边，人子的来临也将要这样。尸体在哪里，秃鹰就聚集在哪里。

甚至是那些没有生命却能发出声音的东西，例如笛子或竖琴，如果发出的音调没有分别，怎么能使人知道所吹所弹的是什么呢？实际上，如果号角发出的声音真的不清楚，谁会准备好出战呢？
