惟見慘無人道之事、入禁地（讀者其深味斯言、）則在猶太者當避入深山、

“ When you see‘ the abomination that causes desolation’ standing where it does not belong— let the reader understand— then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

“ You will see‘ the hated thing that destroys.’( Daniel 9:27; 11:31; 12:11) It will stand where it does not belong. The reader should understand this. Then those who are in Judea should escape to the mountains.

“ But when you see the abomination of desolation standing where he ought not to be( let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

“ The day is coming when you will see the sacrilegious object that causes desecration standing where he should not be.”( Reader, pay attention!)“ Then those in Judea must flee to the hills.

“ Now when you see the abomination of desolation standing where it should not be— let the reader understand— then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains.

“ So when you see the‘ abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not”( let the reader understand),“ then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

But when ye see the abomination of desolation standing where he ought not( let him that readeth understand), then let them that are in Judæa flee unto the mountains:

But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not,( let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

“ But when you see the abomination of desolation standing where it should not be( let the reader understand), then those in Judea must flee to the mountains.

But when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not”( let the reader understand),“ then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains,

From the time the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.

He will make a firm covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and offering. And the abomination of desolation will be on a wing of the temple until the decreed destruction is poured out on the desolator.”

His forces will rise up and desecrate the temple fortress. They will abolish the regular sacrifice and set up the abomination of desolation.

This calls for wisdom: Let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, because it is the number of a person. Its number is 666.

The adversary has seized all her precious belongings. She has even seen the nations enter her sanctuary— those you had forbidden to enter your assembly.

Brothers and sisters, don’t be childish in your thinking, but be infants in regard to evil and adult in your thinking.

“ When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that its desolation has come near.Then those in Judea must flee to the mountains. Those inside the city must leave it, and those who are in the country must not enter it,because these are days of vengeance to fulfill all the things that are written.Woe to pregnant women and nursing mothers in those days, for there will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.They will be killed by the sword and be led captive into all the nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the speaker,“ How long will the events of this vision last— the regular sacrifice, the rebellion that makes desolate, and the giving over of the sanctuary and of the army to be trampled?”

“ This is what the Lord GOD says: No foreigner, uncircumcised in heart and flesh, may enter my sanctuary, not even a foreigner who is among the Israelites.

When Philip ran up to it, he heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said,“ Do you understand what you’re reading?”“ How can I,” he said,“ unless someone guides me?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.

Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep what is written in it, because the time is near.

“ Have you understood all these things?” They answered him,“ Yes.”

“ So when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place”( let the reader understand),“ then those in Judea must flee to the mountains.A man on the housetop must not come down to get things out of his house,and a man in the field must not go back to get his coat.Woe to pregnant women and nursing mothers in those days!Pray that your escape may not be in winter or on a Sabbath.For at that time there will be great distress, the kind that hasn’t taken place from the beginning of the world until now and never will again.Unless those days were cut short, no one would be saved. But those days will be cut short because of the elect.“ If anyone tells you then,‘ See, here is the Messiah!’ or,‘ Over here!’ do not believe it.For false messiahs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.Take note: I have told you in advance.So if they tell you,‘ See, he’s in the wilderness!’ don’t go out; or,‘ See, he’s in the storerooms!’ do not believe it.For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.Wherever the carcass is, there the vultures will gather.

Even lifeless instruments that produce sounds— whether flute or harp— if they don’t make a distinction in the notes, how will what is played on the flute or harp be recognized?In fact, if the bugle makes an unclear sound, who will prepare for battle?
