“ When you see‘ the abomination that causes desolation’ standing where it does not belong— let the reader understand— then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

“ You will see‘ the hated thing that destroys.’( Daniel 9:27; 11:31; 12:11) It will stand where it does not belong. The reader should understand this. Then those who are in Judea should escape to the mountains.

从废除常献祭，并设立那使地荒凉的可憎的像的时候起，必有一千二百九十天。

一七之内，他必和许多人坚立盟约；一七之半，他必使献祭和供物终止；他必在殿里（“殿里”原文作“翼上”）；设立那使地荒凉的可憎的像（“可憎的像”原文是复数），直到指定的结局倾倒在那造成荒凉的人身上。”

他的军队必起来，亵渎圣殿，就是那堡垒，废除常献祭，又在殿里设立了那使地荒凉的可憎的像。

在这里要有智慧。有悟性的人，就让他计算兽的数字，因为这是人的数字，它的数字是六百六十六。

敌人伸手夺取她的一切珍宝，她看着外族人闯入她的圣所：你曾禁止他们进入你的会中。

弟兄们，你们在思想上不要作小孩子，却要在恶事上作婴孩，在思想上作成年人。

“当你们看见耶路撒冷被军队围困的时候，就知道它荒凉的日子近了。那时，住在犹太的，应该逃到山上；住在城里的，要离开；住在乡下的，不要进城。因为这是报仇的日子，使经上的一切话都得应验。当那些日子，怀孕的和乳养孩子的有祸了！因为大灾难要临到这地，烈怒要临到这民。他们将倒在刀下，被掳到各国，耶路撒冷必被外族人践踏，直到外族人的日期满足。

我听见一位圣者在说话，又有一位圣者问他：“这个关于除掉常献的祭，和引致毁坏的罪过，以及践踏圣所和圣民（“圣民”和8:10~11的“天象”原文是同一个字）的异象，要到几时呢？”

主耶和华这样说：“以色列人中一切身心都未受割礼的外族人，都不可进入我的圣所。

腓利就跑过去，听见他读以赛亚先知的书，就问他：“你所读的，你明白吗？”他说：“没有人指导我，怎能明白呢？”于是请腓利上车，同他坐在一起。

读这书上预言的人，和那些听见这预言并且遵守书中记载的人，都是有福的！因为时候近了。

“这一切你们明白吗？”他们回答：“明白。”

“当你们看见但以理先知所说的‘那造成荒凉的可憎者’，站在圣地的时候（读者必须领悟），那时，住在犹太的应当逃到山上；在房顶的不要下来拿家里的东西；在田里的也不要回去取衣服。当那些日子，怀孕的和乳养孩子的有祸了！你们应当祈求，叫你们逃难的时候，不是在冬天或安息日，因为那时必有大灾难，这是从世界的开始到现在未曾有过的，以后也必不会再有。如果那些日子不减少，没有一个人可以存活；但是为了选民，那些日子必会减少。那时，如果有人对你们说：‘看哪，基督在这里！’或说：‘他在那里！’你们不要信，因为必有假基督和假先知出现，显大神迹和奇事；如果可以的话，他们连选民也要迷惑。你们看！我已经事先告诉你们了。如果他们对你们说：‘看！基督在旷野里。’你们不要出去；或说：‘看！他在内室里。’也不要相信。电光怎样从东方闪出来，一直照到西方，人子降临的时候，也是这样。尸首在哪里，鹰也必聚在哪里。

甚至那些没有生命却能发声的东西，例如箫或琴，如果音调不分，怎能使人知道所弹所奏的是什么呢？又如果军号所发的声音不清楚，谁会准备作战呢？
